Every person has a right to live and not to lose that life, except when found guilty of a capital offense. The right to self defense is our birthright and not given by men. We don't have militias today because the people didn't take their obligation to take part in a well-regulated militia seriously. Just like now, they would rather have professionals train, fight, and die so they could live. We idolize the Minuteman, but too few wish to risk death for the common good. 2A = state militias.

3 points to dispel any rumors.

1- Dred Scott USSC decision "legalizing" slavery was handed down in NE at Bedford PA. It led to slavery + all further eugenics policies including child kidnapping by the state, servitude, + all other we are witnessing now. It's the true cause of the Civil War which benefited global bankers.

2 - Precedent states: law shall be interpreted first according to its plain meaning/language.

3- The language of 2A is plain and simple - Shall NOT be infringed. Period.

Everyone hears about the gun violence in the news, but nobody hears about someone who was saved by owning a gun a protecting themselves. Gun laws only restrict good law abiding citizens, there are many unregistered illegal firearms in the U.s and nobody is trying to get rid of them!

The government IS and has been overstepping its bounds. Gun control IS a violation of our rights. They are supposed to protect our rights, not tell us what our rights ought to be as they currently do each administration. I grew up in alaska, I carried a 40 round clip sks with a 40 round clip. and a 357, 6 shot hot load. At 13. I know how to load and fire with lethal force any firearm. Bite me.

Does anybody realize the statement "THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK" refers to the Citizens of the "Grand Jury" because without their collective consent (16 out of 23) the State of New York CANNOT prosecute anybody, period...

Not exactly. The People refers to the People. The Grand Jury should be made up of some of these people but it doesn't have to be. To be on a jury, you only have to be a US citizen and a resident of the state. This citizen is not necessarily a Citizen of New York and not necessarily one of the People.

I haven't read the statutes for Grand Jury in New York, but that is the requirement to be on a Jury in Kansas.

The "people" referred to in 2A are the same people referred to in 1A and 4A, without restriction or distinction. Every American citizen shares all of these rights.

This march on Washington may well be after 9/11/09. Certain measures are being put in place so that the march means well more than a mob of anti establishment people.

The march is for the Redress of Grievances as is provided by the US. Constitution.

It would be nice if our tyrannical government did not infringe on our 2A rights. However, we have now gone too far, we will never get it back at this point. It is just a matter of time now. God help us all.

At this point, that doesn't happen. people "mind their own business" and the media uses propaganda to make people justify the action against innocent people so they can sit back and watch instead of defending their own rights that are being taken right before their eyes through someone else.
