Check out what looks like two pursuers of the courier at 0:42 that is actually three. The one on the left at the beginning of the scene is completely obscuring the third pursuer running along side him opposite the camera angle. They have separated from one another suddenly at 0:44. Or at least it looks that way to me. First time I saw this movie I thought how did the third chaser jump in the scene all of a sudden.
Even though I dislike the book with a searing passion, I still thank my lucky stars it was written because at least it gave rise to this work of art; definitely one of the best scenes of one of the best movies ever made.
Looks like J.F.C. managed to redeem himself after all.
@lmollot Yeah. I like Hawkeyes philosophy. I do what I want to do when I want to do it. Thats what America is all about. No big government runs my life. This movie is inspiring!
This sequence is good but the one on the DC version is better, except for the fact that completely notched the background music which is a real let down.
To me, this is one of those rare movies where it feels like I'm NOT watching a movie. It's more like I'm looking through a time portal, watching what really happened.
you don't understand; the recording on the soundtrack is DIFFERENT to the original recording, this one has the best arrangement and the most feeling in it and the re-recording just is a duller version...thats why it sounds different to you guys, its not only the added guns but the soundtrack ITSELF. I get really frustrated whenever I hear the re-recording, because I haven't found the real recording....
Mine, too! It's epic, the trust the Courier has in the men watching his back. I love when Hawkeye hands off the already fired rifle, reaching back for a loaded one without even turning around or taking his eyes off the Courier for a second. That motion, right about :45, just floors me.
YES! defs one of the best scenes!!! been waiting for this for an age. the soundtracks soooo good, but with the guns going off and stuff just make this scene even more epix. :D
This's best video in world

Hawkeye does good work with "Kildear". La Longue Carabine is one of his names in the book. Also, his rifle's name is Kildear.
