Hey Betty. Those look delicious! I'm going to make these for my boyfriend and I tomorrow night! I see you like to shop at Kroger too hehe. Anyways, best wishes from Atlanta and keep up the good work. I'm glad I stumbled upon your channel.
So I went to our local store and asked them for American muffin bread and there like what's that? And like 10 of the employies came and were like idk what that is, then they were like do u mean english bread I was Uhh idk... It was embarrassing but anyways! I made them and it was yummy thanks Betty!
We make these a lot. Here is an easy recipe for Pizza Sauce. For my grandchildren I omit the red pepper, but for my husband and I we use 2 or 3 dashes to make it spicy. I will never buy pizza sauce again. Pizza Sauce 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce 1 tsp minced garlic ¼ tsp salt ¼ tsp sugar ¼ tsp pepper ¼ tsp basil ½ tsp oregano 1 TBSP olive oil Dash red pepper Combine in saucepan. Simmer, uncovered, over low heat until thick.
I'm thinking of making this at home and bringing it to reheat at college since we don't have stoves, just microwaves. I was just wondering if they reheat well?
@seoulchiq Yes, these reheat well. Just make sure you don't overcook them, because then they would be tough. If you have power settings on your microwave, try 30 seconds at a time at 50% power, until they are just the way you like them. If you don't have control of the power, just check them often.
hey betty i made this today for me and my little brother for a little afternoon snack and i have to say they tasted awesome! thanks for this really delicious recipe! :) keep up the good work also congratulations on your 1000th video i wish you good luck on your success! :)
These would be good for people on Weight Watchers diet . English muffins are low in WW point's, just add lowfat cheese, veggies, turkey pepperoni. Yum! Thanks Betty <3
Thanks for always explaining everything in great detail for the people like me who consider themselves not very good at cooking. You make things so much easier to follow and give me inspiration to keep trying to cook for my family. Thanks Betty. You are a special lady, and you have such a beautiful family.
Hi Betty! You look great! Thanks for making another fun filled video, I love the video's you and Rick make they always bring a warm feeling to my heart! Take care and have a wonderful day!
hi betty ive watched youre videos on cooking very good videos how about doing a video of your home and perhaps we get to see your the camera man you know something on the lines of cribs great youtube site great resipes all the best jacko
Those look so good Betty. They remind me of the simpler pizzas my late Mother made.I've found a wonderful new spaghetti sauce to make my ghetti with, its Francesco Rinaldi and I just add more onion and garlic to it along with the meat. This would be so delicious on English muffins with cheese.
Oh my goodness I am so hungry now! I'm going out first thing in the morning & buying sourdough english muffins & all the fixings...getting ready for Super Bowl Sunday! Thanks Betty...I use to use french bread but the last time I made them the center was soggy & it just hit me, I didn't toast them first.
I love these have been doing many varations through the years one of my favorites is cheesy tomato tuna melt....I first let my split english muffins sit out for a bit to dry for lack of a better word stale them then toast them so you get a real nice crispy crunchy muffin make your tuna how ever you like it place it on your muffin the a slice of tomato and place your favorite cheese on top and broil keeping an eye on them infact talking about makes me want one this might be dinner tonight....lol
Hey betty I'm a very huge fan :) But i am SO SAD to say that i cannot fully benefit from your recipes as i am newly vegan. Maybe you can consider vegan/vegetarian recipes? :) thank you betty love ya
@ellinaaaxo Hey elinaaaxo, I am vegan and still can use a lot of Betty's recipes. Just switch out the ingredients for vegan ones, like vegan cheese, bread, veggie broths, egg substitutes, soy/almond milk and vegan margarine. Her recipes are super adaptable for vegetarians. Some of the ones that use meat can be made with soy/wheat meats or tofu, you just might have to add a little more seasoning but they turn out delicious.
Betty do you ever do anything with a pressure cooker? I just bought an electric one. I would love if you would do some videos if you do have one. Thank you. Keep up the good work!
@bettyskitchen I have a pressure cooker too. I need to do more things in it. The thing about using one I'm told is that it saves energy and preserves nutrients and cuts cooking time down by a certain percent that I can't remember.
@lidsman2221 Enter "pressure cooker recipes" in the search. I just bought one too...they are great! Hope this helps a bit. Pressure cooker chili is GREAT!
My mom keeps this recipe on hand it's a very fast and easy and delicious recipe to make and I love snacking on them.

@IanzGurrl Yes, they will do nicely. Just bake at 350 until the cheese melts. (Check the bottoms to make sure they do not get over-browned.)
