Ohhh i miss my Island so much but when i watch all of the movies about Fanning Island i thought i was home. Hope one day i will be there again to visit my family and see my friends. Haven't been there since I was in the Coast Guard in 1978! No one stopped by back then! ;-) There was a huge wreck there at that time resting on one of the beaches. . . doubt that's still there, is it?
I love my Island it is the best in the line Island.I still miss you my Island!!!!!!

Google Earth Imagery from 9/2007 shows 2 wrecks in the lagoon on either side of the entrance and a plane wreck in the lagoon to the north.

Well sir, i think the wreck you talking about located on the left side of the channel when you going in the channel. I think it gone by now.

yes, in 2006 it was still a symbol atoll right of the pier, I must have a photo
