I pray every day for our troops. My prayer is this, "God the father, son and holy spirit watch over and protect our troops keep them safe and I pray that at the end of their tours they may all arrive home safely and without injuries."

The Marine keeping track of those days got yelled at because of the ticks on the gear. LoL. We were told originally it was only going to be "7-10 days". By the time I left South Helmand, it was many weeks later. I don't regret my time there & I'm glad we got to keep the Taliban from returning.
