The Sylvers = Pure Magic !!They hit all your senses like a perfect meal!!Spicy, hot, sweet, salty, bitter!!I've been a fan since the early 70's & still get the same feelings!Just MAGIC!Thank you Sylvers!
My favorite Sylvers music were their first two albums. I like the their singing styles on those albums before they did Pop music. Nice song I like a lot of the slow songs Leon wrote. He was and is truly a gifted writer.
@henrica7 I love all three MGM Pride albums BUT I also love New Horizins, Forever Yours, and Concept because they were also the Sylvers at their best...and Bizzarre was also very good for mid 80s.
Somethings you maybe should forget. What's wrong with just remembering the good things?... Maybe you've grown and above all that drama... Nothing wrong with remembering the best of someone.
Beautiful song and the harmonies are heaven sent. I remember seeing The Sylvers in concert in Ohio. This was when the it was just the older siblings in the group, Leon, James, Edmund, Rickey, Olympia and Charmaine, I think the Sylvers II album was out. I was a teenager at the time and their vocals sounded just like the record and they all had those big afros we called them sylverfros. Great concert.
Thanks for posting this is tight! I just watched unsung about them not too long ago and now I am hooked on them and trying to find their songs on here, LOL
tell me miss angie about tv one unsung-which you all have sung a longl, long time-but anyway...tell me if it's true. also, i tried to contact to karyn white on facebook about J-syl and other kin from older sylvers. tell me when about the reunion show, sylverspoons from joe media productions-the time, day, network. iam blowned away by the promo ad thanks for sharing with me. see you in december merry xmas!
This song always had this haunting feeling to me. Edmund was great on lead vocals. May he rest in peace. Thank you for posting this beautiful ballad. Sharon "Lurves" it too!
Broke up with someone and left for East Africa. While sitting on the shores of the Indian Ocean, this song came to mind. It helped me say goodbye. It was hard, but now listening to it, it will always be special to me.
that Intro was 10/10. sound like a rap tune! i'm 23 but this group is pure genius!
they very talented. i wish the 70's music was played on the radio again? there music make me happy and get me in a peacefully mood!
