I am not a zombie(movie) fan or even into stuff that incorporates a lot of blood and gore and I am still not, yet this show I think is awesome! Season two is threatening to become more and more of a let down, though I do like the added human drama of the characters going selfish and crazy, but I have hope for something amazing to happen.

Season one was amazing. Top notch, watched it all in like two days.

Season two is shit so far. They completely changed the show from a zombie-thriller to some drama shit. Not that I have anything against drama, but it's not cool when they change it like this.

Breaking Bad and Walking Dead both got budget cuts because of Mad Men, which led to Walking Dead taking place in a farm which only lasted for FOUR issues in the comic. If they want to catch up with all the shit that's happening in the comic, they better hurry up a little.

My only qualms with The Walking Dead was that several episodes where very slow, fewer zombies than I expected and the headshots where obviously CGI. Puppet headshots would have given a more fluid and griitier look, but I guess CGI's the cheaper route in terms of TV.

I just finished watching the first season of Walking Dead, and this has to be, by far, one of the best TV shows out there. I am not a person who is particularly into the zombie genre, but this particular series has so much going for it. It has an engaging plot, characters that seem like real human beings, and not like caricatures, and superb action. It is ironic that a T.V. series about zombies seems to reflect more about life, and its best and its worst, than any drama or reality TV show.

This show is awesome. The effects were great for a TV show. I especially like that one part in the first episode where there's that cut in half zombie that's all decayed and it's crawling all over. That was cool because it wasn't CGI, but it didn't look like a puppet or model, it look like a real living(sorta) thing.
