Yup, that's pretty much true. When I did it like 10 months ago, no one had still FCd the song, and the zig-zag was dreaded... these days it's not THAT much, I could do much better if I tried, but it's still decent.

as an official player of guitar hero, i have to say your skills are amazing, i also managed to play on expert, but that f..ckng song of psychoblilly freakout won't let me pass to the last set. i've being playing since march of this year.
If I could just figure out what the trick is to those zig zags. I can kind of get them going but them I just lose the rhythm. Same goes for the first notes in Solo J, I get it going and it feels like I do nothing different after a couple of those lines of notes then suddenly I'm missing every single one. So frustrating and I just want to beat this game on expert!
It is better atleast if you're used to playing on expert and have some experience. It makes the solos a lot easier atleast for me... I didnt use hyperspeed here because by the time I made this video I never tried it, now I use it all the time

If you know anything about carpal tunnel, Guitar Hero is pretty much made to give it to you. Yes you can get it from a real guitar, but only if you're an idiot and finger things oddly.

As for spending time doing any of both, it was actually thanks to guitar hero that I got into playing guitar (for real).
I waste my time with guitar, and I waste my time with guitar hero like I would with any other videogame, it's just pointless to compare both.

This video is almost half a year old... I can play free bird a bit better these times now, I'll make another vid one of these days =) and this time not on practice, atleast the 2nd part of the song on career... I'm really trying to reach 600k, maybe on vid I'll finaly do it.

ok i'm pretty good at guitar hero my self but i cannot do that solo. Bullshit, hero is not harder than real guitar. Personally I don't like guitar hero just because I play real guitar and i'm really bad at G-hero, but pretty good at real guitar. :P
You're pretty good, man. You've got such fast fingers that you'd probably be good at real guitar if you tried it.
