Any possible thing you could invest in is related to people spending money directly or indirectly. For example, one Apple store pays for utilities, insurance, payroll, toilet paper et cetera.

You look at the stocks that have kept increasing their value the last 20 years and you *assume* that they will keep doing that in the future. What you do not consider here is the crazy shit that is happening in the world these days. It kills corporate businesses and their stocks in seconds.

@Svet69 You think that there are less risks playing roulette than the stock market? LOL! First of all, at best, roulette is about 50% of winning / losing. The stock market isn't random like roulette. Roulette is 100% random chance. The stock market takes skill to use successfully. Gold and silver are THE BEST investments you can make right now, especially silver. Keep an eye on the price of silver and gold, and you'll see what I mean. Up up up! There is a risk in the stock market, (Comment 1/2)
@Svet69 but the risk is WAY LESS than roulette, as long as you know what you are doing. I personally know of people that make seven figures a year from the stock market alone, and only like 2-3 hours each day of actual work....

My grandpa saved his money his entire life so he could brimg my grandma on a really nice vacation. Right when he was able to he couldnt cause he developed a disease that is now slowly killing him. That is great advice. I love the market, in addition to our blue chips, I write covered calls for extra premium on them. I also buy leaps at least 10 contracts (1000 SHARES) AND move in and out. I love selling puts on stock I would not mind owning any way so I get a discount on the stock. You have to really know what your doing with the things I do, but what you said is true and and very wise.

Terrible example. You could of bout a house straight up back in 1980. Then you could of rented the house collecting more cash flow than Dividend. Plus the house in 2006 would of been about 500,000.00. Then the reinvestment from the cash flow could roll into more houses or gold and silver. Plus if you are gonna jump into an investment jump in when it has crashed. Buy things Whole Sale you know all about that.
Just a little addition - to reinvest your dividends with little or no commission, enter the company's DRiP (Dividend Reinvestment Program). It's automatic and your shares will grow. Remember -- you still need to pay taxes on the dividends you would have received. I tend to favor ROTHs, but I don't believe you can use the DRiPs in a ROTH IRA - but WAY better tax advantages especailly for younger people. I've used this system for years and it has been good to me. And MAX out 401ks!

How about if I had invested in Enron (very good company back in 1990) when I was 16? I do like the message of not buying crap and investing in something. Compounding interest is very powerful.

Hey dude im a 16 year old bloke, im about to come into a vastt sum of money but its not enough for me to live up to my dream. If i play a nice amount in the stock market (in the foreign exchange or just shares in companies) will i be able to multiply my money faster? im assuming this business becomes more efficient the more ammount of money you play it with.
Im planning on buying the software, couple more computer monitors (already have a beast of a pc) and making a trading account

I really look up to you kh, im a 17 year old girl from london, and since ive been watching your videos ive realised money making is for anyone and its so simple, if people just listen.. i try to take in your advice, ive decreased alot of buying crap and am concentratin on saving money for summer for a few projects. Stocks are tricky at best. No such thing as "good, steady stocks" that just bring profit without any risk of losing your invested money.
Playing the stock market is very much like playing roulette, just a lot riskier.

You look at the stocks that have kept increasing their value the last 20 years and you *assume* that they will keep doing that in the future. What you do not consider here is the crazy shit that is happening in the world these days. It kills corporate businesses and their stocks in seconds.
What you say is similar to: "Place a bet on Red because the last 20 spins the roulette ball has landed on Black. So now it must land on Red, right?"

@Svet69 You think that there are less risks playing roulette than the stock market? LOL! First of all, at best, roulette is about 50% of winning / losing. The stock market isn't random like roulette. Roulette is 100% random chance. The stock market takes skill to use successfully. Gold and silver are THE BEST investments you can make right now, especially silver. King, I think my grandparents have some stocks in my name and have had them since I was born. I'll probably get yelled at to research this, but there's a lot of sketchy stuff out there, so I thought I would ask an honest person. Is it legal for a 15 year old to have a stock portfolio? Good video and all, but my philosophy is live in the present. You can think about your future too but sometimes you just gotta take chances. My grandpa saved his money his entire life so he could brimg my grandma on a really nice vacation. Right when he was able to he couldnt cause he developed a disease that is now slowly killing him. Most people's strategy for surviving old age is to save as much as they can till their retirement and then hope that they will die before they run out of money. What everyone needs, and I agree with king human, is PASSIVE INCOME, where money comes into your account when you are sitting on the beach and looking at crabs and wonderring why the water is darker in some places ;)

That is great advice. I love the market, in addition to our blue chips, I write covered calls for extra premium on them. I also buy leaps at least 10 contracts (1000 SHARES) AND move in and out. I love selling puts on stock I would not mind owning any way so I get a discount on the stock. You have to really know what your doing with the things I do, but what you said is true and and very wise.

You do things that 99.9999% of the people here won't do because they have no idea about options & the like. But the thing most people have forgotten is that we learn everything we know and if you want to EARN you need to LEARN. Paople have become way too lazy when it comes to learning. A friend of mine bought a silver coin at the gold store, and his money went from $30 from his original buy to $48. and with all the calamity and economy crash, at least you have coins left to barter. Is that a good investment?

Terrible example. You could of bout a house straight up back in 1980. Then you could of rented the house collecting more cash flow than Dividend. Plus the house in 2006 would of been about 500,000.00. Then the reinvestment from the cash flow could roll into more houses or gold and silver. Plus if you are gonna jump into an investment jump in when it has crashed. Buy things Whole Sale you know all about that.

Just a little addition - to reinvest your dividends with little or no commission, enter the company's DRiP (Dividend Reinvestment Program). It's automatic and your shares will grow. Remember -- you still need to pay taxes on the dividends you would have received. I tend to favor ROTHs, but I don't believe you can use the DRiPs in a ROTH IRA - but WAY better tax advantages especailly for younger people. I've used this system for years and it has been good to me. And MAX out 401ks!

I remember back in 2008 or 2009 when GM's stocks went very low. I was 17 and I knew that GM could never go out of business anytime soon. But if I had money and was 18, I would of bought stocks and I would most likely have more money today, But I had no money and I was just 17 =[ But Im going to do this! Thanks KH!!

I agree with you on most things King, but this one I don't. Johnson & Johnson is a rarity. Buying single stocks is a crap shoot. How about if I had invested in Enron (very good company back in 1990) when I was 16? I do like the message of not buying crap and investing in something. Compounding interest is very powerful.
