Even though a lot of us Beatle fans may strongly dislike Yoko Ono, she made John really happy. And was honestly an inspiration for some of his most amazing songs. Even though we all think she broke up the band and is the reason why they didn't last as long as they could have; John was infatuated with her. And considering the hard times he went through as a child, It was good to see him smiling.

i have the feelin' that both yoko & linda, not just yoko, who caused the breakup of the beatles.

john was so deeply in love with yoko, who could hardly be said 2b beautiful, while he could mary almost any woman he wanted 2. there4 his love 4 yoko must have been a true 1.

@pkving They broke up because there interest in musical styles had gone different directions. Yoko or Linda had nothing to do with it really. Not all men are that shallow as far as what they want out of a woman, it isn't just about looks like most women tend to think of men. Maybe he loved Yoko because he really loved her, not just because she looked good to him, same with Paul picking Linda.

they broke up not bcoz their interests in musical styles went in different directions, the styles didnt, but bcoz john treated yoko as more important than the beatles & paul treated linda as more important than the beatles. i aint say that they were wrong in doin' so. you know the ego of women. perhaps yoko, realizin' that john would do whatever she told him 2 do, wanted to show the rest of the band who's boss. perhaps similarly 4 linda & paul, probably 2 a less degree.
