Some of the people who were listed ans whose pictures were published were alive and had nothing to do with the hijacking. Back to my original point: this show was intentionally written as a gag. I took the word "Rosebud" as indicative of a sly reference to "Citizen Kane". It's meaning has to do with falling from greatness. Sort of like the career trajectory of a certain "former Governor".

Read the Passantino article "Overcoming the Bondage of Victimization: A Critical Evaluation of Cult Mind Control Theories" for some of the reasons why I reject the sensational claims made about hypnosis.

If such techniques are perfected you can go very far with very many people, the key is not being willing but not being aware, and even with awareness i can imagine it can be done.
