Oh, no! I had no idea the "rinse free" rice cup was smaller and just two minutes ago ordered two of them to replace my standard lost rice measuring cup. The whole order was less than $5 with shipping so I will just order 2 of the standard 180 ml cups. Thank you for letting me know the difference.
@wildchildpr - unless you know of a bricks and mortar retailer that has a special offer, I imagine the best prices can be found online at the likes of Amazon. One of the great things about living in Japan is that rice cookers are really good value!
@rendezvous65 That's cool. For a long time they were neglecting the IH models. In my opinion, this was a mistake. Glad to hear they're now selling the best :)
@JapaneseRiceCookers Actually they aren't selling that model. I probably shouldn't have written this. I do know that NP-GBQ05 is the 220v English model of your particular rice cooker. Sorry for the typo. They still aren't selling the IH models. The Q models are actually for SE Asia (Hong Kong/Singapore/Malaysia.) Yumasia probably imports the SE Asian models from Japan or Hong Kong.
@r0wd3 It looks crazy in the video mainly because I have the rice cooker on top of my gas stove. It wasn't all that steady. When the rice cooker has a firmer base, it pops up less aggressively.

When you refered to 3 cups capacity model.
Do you mean standard us cups or the smaller 1/4 less cups ?

@wildchildpr - rice cooker cups are 180ml - for rinse free rice, there are slightly smaller 171ml cups

Where can I find the lowest price for that model?
Thanks for your time!
