  • Mmmmmn entrails!

  • Awesome Shoot...!! They seem quite civil...!!

  • Buzzard-Vulture+ Lawyer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the hawk looks like a red tail....a buteo or buzzard, the vultures are not buzzards......

  • nice vid man \m/ 5* like the eagles and hawks great birds >:)) :) \m/

  • thats a perigrin falcon not a buzzard

  • hawks seem like they're wearing jeans ..

  • those turkey vultures are like, "you gonna eat that?"

  • Such a beautiful hawk!

  • Vultures are not Buzzards, Red Tailed hawks are a type of buzzard. True hawks are accipiters. Thus the Gos Hawk or the Cooper's Hawk is a true hawk. Redtails, Broadwings and other buteos are only called hawks in the US but are Buzzards. Vultures are vultures. On a side note New world Vultures are related to Storks and not Old World Vultures.

My point is, when you say Redtail vs Buzzard you are being redundant and not even mentioning vultures. To be fair its a common misconception.

  • next time get a HD camera will ya??

  • erm, it's the hawk that's the buzzard, not the vulture's.

  • If you don't mind my offering a correction, A vulture is not a buzzard. A buzzard is a buteo species found in europe. Vultures are commonly misnamed from the colonists who called them buzzards due to their abundance. Much like the Buzzards in england which are quite common. Otherwise great video, thank you for posting it.

  • I've had the pleasure of seeing one of these magnificent hawks up close. It was very regal.

  • So is this like a put down to a hwak, when another bird shows its rear end to the hwak? Im a little confused X_X

  • seen this same exact scene the other day. just involved one red tail and two buzzards though. they just watched and let the hawk get its fill and then took the scraps. pretty freaking cool.

  • Turkey vultures and other birds check out my RC airplanes all the time. Some smaller birds will try and fly in formation with the XPV. Check out my video for flying with turkey vulture he basically did a fly by.

  • They will play with flying kites sometimes too. They seem like very intelligent animals.

  • that video just shows a bunch of hawks and vultures peeling on grass not a over kill or what ever

  • In the Americas, the word "hawk" is used to describe both Accipiters and Buteos. In the old world, "buzzard" describes Buteos and "hawk" is used for Accipiters. In the US, "buzzard" is used only colloquially for buteoines and vultures.

  • Red Tailed Hawks are all business and take no shit from vultures which only eat carrion. Red Tailed's can kill very large animals.

  • Those are black vultures. That was a red tailed hawk. It is quite possible the other hawk in the tree was a juvenile begging for food despite its' seemingly greater size.

  • If that hawk was by condors Im sure the condors will kill that hawk since there bigger cousins of the vulture and are the biggest flying bird in the world from what I read.

  • Buzzards!

  • Ummm yah except you forgot one main fact. No condor will catch a red tail hawk. Its like saying a Bear can catch a wolf, wont happen unless handicapped some how.

  • buzzards are buizerds in dutch

    hawks are havikken

    very different kinds...

    succes

  • Your all wrong. Buzzard in the UK is synonomous with buteo which a red tail IS. A true hawk is only of the genus "accipiter". In USA there are only 3 true hawks, the sharp shinned, the coopers and the goshawk. All the other buteos are "buzzards". Buzzards are not synonomous with vultures. vultures eat only carrion, buzzards kill things.

  • LittleBlueHeron (10 maanden geleden) Toon Verbergen 0 Gemarkeerd als spam Antwoorden | Spam Those are Turkey Vultures, they aren't BUZZARDS. BUZZARD is a European term for HAWK.

Sorry if this sounds mean, but I'm trying to correct you.

Buzzard isn't a european term for hawk you moron..

Buzzard is a bit bigger than a hawk and eats mice, rats, young animals..

Hawk is a quite small, strong bird which can feed on big preys like hares, rabbits, fasens and other big preys..

  • wow nerd hawk small???? that red tail hawk isnt small it was about the same sized as ure so called buzzards (vultures). And the ferruginous hawk is even bigger then the red tail. And btw the bueto hawks are called buzzards in europe; you know nothing you asshole. Rabbits are quite small prey just like mice dumbass. A large kill for a bird is the kills made by harpy, philippine, crowned, martial, golden and other large booted or forest eagles. They kill animals weighing upto 80 lbs. So gf narb.

  • Buzzard is an american term for the scavengers. And yes, it is a european term for hawks, not true hawks but those of the genus buteo. Therefore you are wrong, and the moron. Pwnt.

  • que guea mas fome

  • very cool video.

  • Those are Turkey Vultures, they aren't BUZZARDS. BUZZARD is a European term for HAWK.

Sorry if this sounds mean, but I'm trying to correct you.

  • That is all right. I changed it. Buzzard is a common name that is often used, but I should have put both names in. Thank you.

  • No problem, anytime. ^_^

  • Actually, buzzard is an american term for turkey vulture as well as a european term for a a medium sized raptor found all over Europe. It has smaller feet than a red-tail of the same size... etc. Therefore not only are you mostly incorrect by over-generalizing the usage of buzzard in terms of its european meaning, you are completely incorrect about the meaning of buzzard in North America.

  • Did ya see dem buzzards playin' wit dat-dare hawk? Dem sum fine lookin' buzzards ah-right!!

  • buzzardz and haekz are 2 different thingz dipzhit. if your talkin bout redtailz then yah thatz a buzzard but true hawkz are not

  • we callem buzzards in texas

  • @LittleBlueHeron In fact Buzzard is NOT a European term for hawk. Buzzard is the name of an individual bird of prey, all the hawks are called hawks.

Sorry if this sounds mean, but I'm trying to correct you.

  • @1madaboutguitar +1, my friend.

  • Lamer then my sex drive!

Was that Vaseline on the lens or were my eye just blurry from all that make-believe fighting?
