@Mrtechsauce there's a wire coming out of the front of the engine that the light plugs into, that I guess is hooked up to a little generator inside the engine.
@TheRealUyi its probably because its just a cheap centrifugal clutch on the bike? those always tend to make a lot of noise when they are in their friction zone before they fully engage.
@dailee3 hmm not sure... gas on and flowing, choke on, kill switch in right position? oil full, gas full and fresh? spark plug connected properly and working? Engine not flooded? Try spraying some quick start into the air intake and seeing if the engine even attempts to start after that?
@AlexanderBeans Not sure if you can order these through a website...? I got mine at Canadian Tire. I believe in the US you can get them at either Atwoods, Pep Boys, or TSC. Here they go for $700
@AlexanderBeans No Idea, it's not something I've ever calculated or has ever concerned me lol. I think the Baja site used to say approx 30-50mpg for these on their specs page but it doesn't say any more so don't quote me on that. :P
@Emmonach Hmm that's totally up to you. If you plan on modding and customizing it then I'd say it is but If you just plan on keeping it stock then probably not. You could always see if you could find a cheap used one instead of buying new?
@paddywagon101 hmm as far as I know just getting a stock torque converter to work is going to need some mods, but If you look hard enough you might be able to find one already modded to fit this? :-\
22.5 is pretty slow for a 200cc, why is this? Is it geared low or what. I read on craigslist someone selling one that said it was a 2 stroke. this doesnt sound like one, is it?
@CodieLee93 Ya in stock form it is pretty slow. It's because the engine is governed at 3600rpm and it is geared fairly low and only has the one gear. You can get it to about 31mph in about 5 min just by by passing the governor which brings the rpm up to around 5000rpm but that is hard on the engine for any sort of extended period. You could also remove the gear reduction system and go striaght from clutch to back sprocket and gain a lot of speed but you would loose lots of torque.
@CodieLee93 Although best way to gain more speed and actually gain more torque is a torque converter. That brings the top speed to around 43mph. But that's another $200-300. And these are indeed 4-stroke, the craigslist person probably didn't know what they were talking about or might have replaced the engine with a 2-stroke engine. :P
@Jeffrey1135 Thanks! :D Ya they are pathetically slow in stock form, I could never keep it that way, that's Why I instantly started modding this one after the first ride. :P Although I don't find the foot pegs too far forward at all, I find forward pegs make it more comfy to ride. You just have to get used to it I guess. :P
i have this bike but its red and honestly everyone never double anyone on it i did and i fucked up the motor and now it goes like 15mph and it goes about 20-25 so dont fuck aroundd on it i did jump and it hurts ur ass there is no shocks so dont be stupid just drive it and have fun
going to buy one soon, hopefully, probably going to do the exact same thing you did, with the torque converter, and the air intake. i'm actually curious if a Honda gx200 will mount up on it.. (probably just a single straight pipe for exhaust though)
@MarcelsWorkshop i'll let you know how it turns out.. having trouble finding one for the right price around here, at my tractor supply they are 649.99, no luck nearby with craigslist.. don't want to risk blowing something up that cost me that much lol.
@LHRShadow ok cool. I don't think you have to worry about blowing it up unless you plan to use nitro fuel or something though, lol. Although a cheap one is bound to turn up sooner or later.
@Viralzzz lol nice! That sucks though that the cops caught you, must of taken forever to walk it back. :P I would of just waited until the cop left then hoped right back on, lol.
@MarcelsWorkshop he pulled to the side of the rode and slowly followed us -.- Haha, I was pissed, I got mine for 450 and it works mint, I find they have a lot of torque!
great video. i made a pipe out of scrap metal and a spray paint can then painted it with grill paint. now i need to save up for a torque converter! but my warrior is an '06 and the previous owner didnt take care of it and beat the crap out of it so i need to replace the rear tire and cables first...
@fransolis94 Thanks! =-) I don't know for sure if it can bacause theres no hills that steep around my house, but I would think with the stock clutch as long as you were moving a good speed before hitting the hill it would climb fine, but if you were to start on the hill from a dead stop the clutch might just slip. With a torque converter clutch it would prolly do fine though even from a complete stop.
@TheWolfmanG I've never actually timed it but my best guess would be a couple hours. :P I guess it would depend on how hard your drive it and on what kind of terrain. :P
Hey I've been watching your videos and I must say they're really good!!!

this might be a stupid question but, where does the light hook up to?

@Mrtechsauce there's a wire coming out of the front of the engine that the light plugs into, that I guess is hooked up to a little generator inside the engine.

@MarcelsWorkshop probably from the magneto, thanks for the answer, i may be getting one soon and want to put a tachometer on it/

i think my clutch is whining when i first start accelerating, is that bad or does it just need to be broken in?

@RSAPshow Hmm not that I know of... Perhaps there's just a difference between the Canadian version and American version?

@MarcelsWorkshop oh, if yours is Canadian, then its DEFFINATLY different. But mine is green and says Baja on the decorative fuel tank.
