  • whats the name of that 1st song

  • Hi Great video! So, for a fairly small church, 2 K10's and 2 Ksubs would be plenty right?? Thanks, -Ken

  • @portnoyfan521 Hi Ken, the K12s and the ksubs would be great for a small church, depends on what youd like to use them for. they work well with any event you put them in and sound fantastic. the K12's also work well for stage monitors. Ive used my QSC K series Very hard over the past year and Ive had NO issues with any of them. there great cabs for what they cost. If youd like any info about them PLZ feel free to ask

  • This building has NOTHING acoustic about it!!! Its the worst place in the world for audio PERIOD, its all steel and bricks, But yes the k12s do very well as monitors to! and for the Musicians...hears a tip..if U got a K12 as a monitor in front of U and a stack of guitar amps behind U that 4 some reason has to be turned all the way up, DONT exspect to hear the k12, works better if U turn that SCREAMING guitar down and let the sound guy give U volume. U find that youll be able to hear your monitor

  • @BlastEntertainment84

here is another tip for musicians, the worst thing that a guitar or bass player can do is to have a wall of speakers behind you, your ears are made in the way that you here more clean and clear what is infront of you than behind.

I've had better results using 2x10 tilt amp for the bass ans 2x12 combos in front of the guitarrist than having a wall of speakers en the back, and is best for the FOH man. try it.

  • Yeah right! I own 2 k12 and trust me they are so cool but in this building any kind of speakers would do the same noise! i say noise because what I hear is noise it is not music.. its noise.. (this building has too much acoustics) I would like to hear this speakers in a different building with different acoustics like a theater or any other with not as much sound acoustic response. Yesterday I had a party and had to use my k12 as monitors and had to ask my friend for his big speakers.

  • The K-Series are great speakers. I own K10's & really they'e the single most valuable piece of audio equipment I own & I own a lot. Though the amps have 1Kw, it's 2 500w amps, 1 for HF & 1 for the woofer. The HF NEVER uses 500w so its really more like a 650w cabinet. Using more than 1 per side should be reserved to provide wide horiz. coverage like in this video, not for SPL. 1 thing that makes these K's so versatile is the great mixer section on the back.

  • Track ID plz :) QSC rocks!

  • yes qsc has really outdone themself with the k series i have 2 k-10 in my apartment and can't crank it up too much without wearing some kind of ear protection. simply too much for my apartment. but i rather have too much and not needed than having too little and needing more.

  • yeah soungs good.

I was performing this past sat at a place half this size; rectangle shape, it was sad one of my crank struss broke and i could only lift my speaker to about 5 ft.. the reverb was nasty but it could have been worse... great sistem dude fly sistem is the way to go on large places specially like this mega place...

  • @ladjkaoz thanks for your comment buddy, sorry to hear about the crank breakin, Ive had that happen to me before, and it sucks when U take what U need and something breaks. also this buliding in this video I SWEAR is the WORLDS WORST place for audio. the Echo is terrible. but with the QSC speakers we did get good comments from the people there on how it sounded. so that was a plus. Bigger places like this will always be hard to get to sound good. I guess you can do your best and thats about it.

  • @ladjkaoz

last friday night I was DJing along a band.. the place was very small, they had a pair of k12 tops and bases. I got to tell you they do sound sweet but not good for a event over 300 where theres screaming talking. and other thing most of the bass was given to the rear like most woofers(front loaded) over all they sound great...

  • @ladjkaoz Hi buddy TY for your comment....I AGREE 100% they dont work that well for the larger events. in that case I use larger NON Powered full range enclosures and Dual 18" subs. for the samller events those k series speakers rock. also for the Large scale concerts I do the k12s are AMAZING when U flip them over and use them for stage monitors!

  • @BlastEntertainment84 Novice soundman here, what is it about an unpowered speaker that makes it more powerful? What 18" would you use for a big show, and what would you use for mains?

  • I have 2 k12s no subs yet

  • Great you gatta love them I have two k12

  • @bigjohn1jmills VERY COOL!!!! there are GREAT speakers for just about any event!

  • god! dreadful echos in the arena :( good speakers tough.

  • @imaginarytube I agree with you 100%, That arena is HORRIBLE with audio, its was a nightmare for me to get it to sound as good as it really did. TY for your video comment

  • These video's are a true testament to what QSC can do!

  • @mike31jmb Thank You Buddy For your AWESOME Comment!!!

  • I have a question, I have a building which measurements are Wide 38 ft, Height 16 ft, and dept 53 ft. What u recommend? I have a full band playing in the the stage. I love this K Series but i m not sure if they are good enought to hold the band. any thought?

  • @jposdas26 Thanks for your message, I know of a couple bands in my area that use the K12s as mains. a build the size of yours they would work gerat BUT, depending on the power the band requiers they may Not push enough. the Kseries speaker are AWESOME! when I run sound for a band I have a concert system which pushes more that 16000 just on Subs. the k12s I then use as stage monitors. the k12s will do a good job 4 U if u have like 4 as mains. I wound recommend a min of (4) 2perside

  • @jposdas26 the other thing with the Kseries spearkers is, If u use them as mains, there is a switch on the back of the box that runs the led on the front of the speaker, if U switch it to limit, u can see when the speaker clips, the light on the front of the speaker will light up real bright telling U to turn down, this feature is GREAT when u use the k12s as mains. I just used 4 k12s 4 my mains at a highschool 4 a musical, there preformance was AMAZING! any ohter questions U have PLEASE ask!!!

  • @jposdas26 4 k12s total will give U 4,000 watts of vocal power, if u put 2 on each side of ur stage with some subs, u will be amazed at what they will do, I do highly recommend them. all depends on what U want to spend on a system ? the k12 speakers run 1000 RMS but they will peak around 1500 to 2000 watts per box

  • @BlastEntertainment84 I have a question please answer, Ok For Classic rock or Blues what is better Active speakers or Passive speakers? i wanted to buy Peavey Passive speakers Or QSC Active speakers for active speakers what is Better QSC or db Technologies?

  • @narutoeditor2 Hi ty 4 ur question, BAY FAR QSC Speakers are Much better than Peavey, I own both brands. NOW active or passive....that all depends on what U wanna spend for them. The qsc speakers in my vids here, Ive used for band and they work GREAT for that, other question is how much power do U need?? take a look at QSC powered fullrange, they work GREAT for bands KW Series

  • @jposdas26 I am in a 7 piece band that uses 2 k12s and an hpr18 for mains. We had planned on using 2 k12s per side for larger events, but haven't found it necessary yet. We have had the need for an additional hpr18. Keep in mind that we play mostly corporate and wedding reception type events, but do crank pretty good towards the end of the night. We also use k12s for monitors. They are very clean, like studio monitors. We have not been disappointed with the k series.

  • @grouchy222 VERY Cool Bro!!! I LOVE the K Series Line by QSC, They Just Work and Work VERY well everytime and anything U put them threw! Im happy with there preformance everytime I use them. KEEP ROCKIN! Corey

  • Great video. Thanks for doing this! Just wondering though..Did you run the K12's 100hz HPF? Or were they in Norm or DEEP? Thanks

  • @criscruz Hi Buddy, NO Problem Im glad you liked my Video, I was running them in all Normal Modes, HF was flat and the LF settings were in normal, If I run them with the LF set to deep I cant get that much Volume before the amp in the speakers clips. with the K12's U can get twice the volume if they are set to Flat and Normal. And more questions U have PLEASE Send them to me and I will respond!!!!!!

  • Them subs are not the 181's right ? ... I am curious because damn (video sound loss aside) it sounds WOW !!!

  • @Bl4ckVV0lF No Sir, these are the QSC KSubs they have 2 12" Woofers in each sub. Example...I had 2 ksubs at this event, So I only had a total of 4 12" woofers pushing the lows. Thats it. QSC Does make acouple of 181's tho Thanks for your comment

  • Oops, sorry I thought you said only one Ksub at first. Still sounds great!

  • Holy Crap! That sounds "Amazing" for that amount of space with just one Ksub. I didn't think the Ksub would put out that much. I have 2 K12's and I know how good they are, but didn't imagine the sub would perform like that.

  • @mike31jmb There are 2 k subs but i know what you mean. that's alot of space to fill and put clarity into. sounds good to me... I WANT SOME!

  • Jesus Fuck!

  • @3insanity haha interesting video comment!
