This is really taking the lobby to the street. I envisage this going further with entire sections of cities/times/eras will be recreated with dramatic effect and cross-marketing & promotions across brands. The lobby is a real estate and with increasing use of technology & in-room check-ins, tv check outs etc, the lobby is set to be the new 'place to be seen at!'

does anyone know if all the courtyards are supposed to getting that modern renovation..Iam an employee at a courtyard and we are i desperate need of renov.

All older generation Courtyards are expected to undergo the renovation. Stay tuned the 25th anniversary CY celebration Oct. 30th. It's in Newport News and you should see that new build. It's the first to have our new exterior design as well.

wow thats is so great I work for Marriott in reservations at a call center in Saskatchewan and that is certainly one of the best hotels of ours that I have ever seen I will so be coming to visit it someday I hope....
