@TheIronman1995 interesting thing is, autoguns 9which under the old rules were just the same as laguns) used to be more common in both the models and artwork of the imperial guard.

now it's all about effeciency. GW doesnt want to confuse the little kiddies with too many different rifle varieties (lol)

@yumyum1100 Using my lungs, and the basic function of the mask to allow air in and out. Apparently the military experimented with gas masks which didn't let anything in or out, but every single test subject asphyxiated within minutes... it turns out that soldiers need oxygen, or something?

Yes, the helmet is not quite right - it should actually have a ridge like the French WW1 fireman's helmet, but it was originally going to be a Grenadier with a metal brow plate. The best-laid plans, eh?

Actually even laser pointer has recoil due to rule of conservation of momentum. Laser pointers have teeny weeny recoil which is quite easily asborbed by our body. More powerful beam means more rercoil. One would think that beam weapon with that kind of recoil would turn man into cinders easily :) end of mini-lecture

Forgeworld Imperial Aquila, cleaned up with a knife and heated in hot water to make it pliable... then shaped to fit the helmet.

Took three attempts, then superglued into place, IIRC.
