I'm so glad I bought this game before I saw the iPod Touch trailer. The DSi trailer of this game was way better, even if this one actually explained the game. The voice makes it seem like the game was for girls, despite the footage. Please make a better trailer next time Way Forward, you almost turned me off the game.

Why not PC? Controlling this on a touch screen = ugh. Much lower quality sidescrollers are doing quite well on Steam...

The install base of PCs capable of running this is humongous however.

ok wayforward i am going to tell you why i didnt buy it on the dsishop and e-shop is because it costed alot for how short is was. I am not saying it was a bad game or anything its just that it should had been a longer game for the $12 you were asking for. but maybe if you put the GBC game on the nintendo e-shop then maybe i would think about getting the dsiware game.

@NE0MEW A six-hour DSiWare game for $12 is a bargain, especially when you consider full-price retail games offer single player campaigns that last just as long as Shantae.

The UI looks pretty terrible and it will probably be lost in a sea of crap that is the iOS market. I love wayforward games, but they need to be on a handheld with buttons.

@NE0MEW Exactly, it is known as probably the best DSi ware game right now so it is selling rather well. It probably wont sell to well on the iphone, i don't see how a lot of iOS titles sell well unless they are big name titles.

@NE0MEW There are few games that actually sell well on the iOS market especially when you take into consideration that there are a lot of new apps uploaded everyday. Probably the only reason that angry birds is selling so well is because it's always on the front page because they do constant updates for it and it's ridiculously cheap. It's also getting a lot of publicity from the mainstream because of it's cartoon characters.
