  • So responsive love these little nostalgic small blocks and its good to know somebody else built an engine for their senior project! I built a 355sbc. Nice vid

  • ALL IN ALL BROTHER IF YOU BORED IT OVER .30 THAT WOULD MAKE IT A ABOUT 347C.I IF IM THINKING RIGHT--HOLLAR IF YOUEVER NEED ANY HELP I USED TO BUILD COMP MOTORS FROM 83-93 KINGS HORPOWER MOTORS--LOOK ME UP! USAC,NHRA,AHRA TOO AND A FEW OTHERS! KEEP IT UP YOUNG MAN!LISTEN TO THAT OLD SCHOOLER HE KNOWES~!!

  • QUESTION! WHY DIDNT YOU GO WITH A COMP CAMS MAGNUM CAM~!??? I RUN A SONNY BRYANT 372 515HP AT THE BELL HOUSEING WITH A COMP CAMS MAGNUM 292/501 I THINK THE MAGNUM CAM SERIES RUN MORE MID RANGE AND TOP END TORQUE~! I RUN LOW 10'S IN MY 79 CHORT BOX CHEVY TRUCK~! WITH A 2700-3000 STALL! THAT MOTOR WOULD GO GOOD IN A 66 OR 67 DUECE~!

  • 327 BADDEST SMALL BLOCK EVER

  • WOW ! sounds great

  • Nice. Sounds mean

  • nice!! I got myself a 327. pretty good and strong little motor..

I beat the hell out of mine and still run pretty good.

  • I have never seen a PVC valve connected to a tunnel ram before?

  • The throttle response is amazing on that!

  • @greenjeens That's just tunnel rams for you, very snappy response. The 327 has a short throw on the crank allowing it to rap more rapid as well. But the number one reason is not having a transmission hooked to the back. All engines will rap fairly quick when they're not hooked to anything.

  • These are double pumper 650's right?

How do you have them jetted?

  • @n5ifi no, they are single pump 650's. I am not exactly sure how they are jetted, a good friend of mine tuned them perfectly. The guy you see in the video to be exact

  • @jp21scball it sounds good but the idle is off a wee bit

  • that thing sounds great, nice build

  • that bad boy sounds like it wants to be turned loose. why 650's instead of 450's?

  • @shovelour The 650's are perfect for it, we tried running it on just one but it was sucking the flaps shut so we had to hook the second up.

  • vortec heads?

  • Pretty awesome.

  • @JebHardly Thanks Jeb!! It was a great amount of fun to build. This Beaut is bolted to a 66 chevelle frame that im restoring. (pictures on my facebook page).

  • Pretty awesome.

  • @s10

  • what comprestion
