  • u r the man dude!!!!!

  • Nice man! Awesome skills. I am a 3D plane guy and this video keeps me influenced to practice my heli skills!

  • hey nick put velcro on the ceiling and the gear

  • holy crap. Dude, that's incredibly impressive. Great job. I loved the bit about the 'landing' on the ceiling. WOW.

  • thats some crasy flyin man

  • Sick Nick.Awesome video.

  • Awsome skills Nick... I can make my T450 do that.... when I crash ;)

  • gangsta

  • you've got safe space just a couple of yards ahead... what d'ya want to demonstrate, fying in the garage?

good luck (or lock...head lock... I'd say)

editing videos like that just push other people to the risk of severe injuries...

  • @ruggesan He is one of the Masters rc heli helicopters, so dont worry, we, the people who knows a little about this hobby, know that there are only few guys in the world capable to fly like Mr Nick Maxwell. I will be trying some inverted hover in my garage til 2014 maybe...

  • @ruggesan Please search Nick Maxwell helicopters, then you will understand that normal people who flies rc helicopters know our capabilities and wont be under risk. This is masters stuff...

  • no doubts about skillness, you just forget that there's something you can't keep under 100% control: the heli's electromechanical devices.May something not work, so safety margins would reveal being dramatically poor...That's all.Skillness is the same a few footstep ahead, out of the garage,i.e. the whole matter seems very exhibitionist, and a very bad example for other people.Remind in aviation good pilots are just the ones who have no accidents, and do not need to show how "good" they are.Solong

  • @ruggesan dont degrade this video, Nick Maxwell fully understands the risks involved even with a 200 size. anyone in the hobby should so WE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO tell people that rc helis are dangerous! from the time i started on a trex 450 i have known that fact! you guys need to realize that on this video and other similar ones they know what there doing and other pilots do too, we are not stupid

  • Thats an incredible flight! I have the first version of this gaui 200 and the V2, and I can do some mild 3d, Could you be honest and answer me a question? Do you feel the v2 version is better to do 3d than this one on the video? Becuse the v2 a lot heavier, is like a the one in the video but with two battery packs. Or is it me, that dont have the patience or knowledge to make it work properly?

  • i have the same exact garage door opener.

  • Congratulations Nick!!

  • This is the 1st version of GAUI EP200 (PN 203910) - with flybar. GAUI no longer seems to sell it through its retail channels, as it has been replaced with SE/V2 models for some time already.

  • Wow -- this is impressive!

  • Damn, thats what we call a reference!

  • Man, you are ready for the MASTER competitions. By the way, I won't even try that on a sim. Otherwise, I will keep my finger on the reset button... ;)

  • @frankygoestocanada Funny that....He WON the masters last month..such a talented pilot

  • omg ! :D:D

  • id of gone through about 20 helis by now trying that in there...

  • are u running 2s or 3s

  • Is that the flybarless GAUI 200?

  • this video is insane.

pulling that off in a garage is one of the craziest things i've ever seen with an rc heli.

  • and HOLY SHIT

  • so a heli with 3D flying capabilities means it can fly upside down? (yes im a nobe... sorta lol)

  • @raceyz85

    Yeah

  • nice fly , hope somedays i will do it too

  • holy mother...

  • Great flying!

  • This is nucking futs.

    BUT I LIKE IT.

    Congrats, great flying.

  • nice flight...All your flights at this years IRCHA were incredible. I especially liked your night flights on Saturday night.

  • that's unreal

  • !!!!!!!!!!!

  • Unreal!

  • Everything's been said, ridiculous skills... but... are those snow mobiles in the trailer? I want to be you! LOL Nice toyz

  • what!!!!!!!!! THAT IS SICK!!!!!

  • He's a really 3D master. Amazing precision and skills!

  • no control what so ever

  • i hope you are being sarcastic...

  • haha duh the guys abviously incredible it was a joke : )

  • I have SOOOOOO much to learn!

  • grade A+ mate 7*

  • Grate work! Fantastic control! Best flying ever see (inside garage)

  • amazing!

  • just fantastic,

  • Anyone can pic up a rtf heli and learn to fly. But you have mastered the art. Hats off to you & your mad skills. I wouldn't mind haveing a room like that and some of those mini helis on my simulator. if you can do this in a small room I can't even beggin to imagine what you in a big one .

  • damn it landed on the roof.

  • now your lawnmower is obsolete xD

  • damn thats really awesome!!

  • Nick Maxwell - You LEGEND !

  • This is nuts... to me a garage sees like such a little place.. here it seems like a gym ;) And what's up with landing inverted?! Crap! :) Good job is not enough to be said ;)

  • Nick,dude you are GREAT!!!

    A+....

  • One word....HERO!!

  • That's crazy. You're good. Crazy and god make a crazy good combination!!!

  • there, that gets rid of all the dust :P

  • i won't lie....that's awesome !!

  • youve got sick skills!ive only been flying for a month and a half, but i want to fly 3d!awsome video.5 stars.

  • I have a gaui 200 and that is some awesome piloting. What is your Setup more specificaly? 2s or 3s? Gyro? HS45's on collective? Belt or Shaft?

  • LOL! dude how many years have you been into this hobby?

have you been into competitions before??

  • He came in 5th at the 3d Masters held in UK July 2008.

  • holy shit good work mate

  • stock? pretty impresive dude!

  • wow!!! that's VERY good to land upside down!

  • incredible! Never saw an inverted landing before. Great Video!

  • are you using inverted switch in this vid?

  • inverted switch is so 1982. i don't think anyone born after 1984 even knows what it is.

  • sure would make it easy to land on the ceiling though, did you know that 3d flying was originally called swichless inverted. well, now you do.

p.s. I dream about flying this well

  • it was called the Mas setup where i was (as in Mike Mas). But i have heard it called switchless. i just thought that was a strange comment unless you were trying to be funny. you'd break your invert switch off trying to fly like nick does in this vid with invert-switch setup.

  • ya, I know, it's just that part where hes inverted for a long time then lands on the ceiling. Inverted switch would make this very easy, everything else would be a total pain switching back and forth all the time, that would be crazy if people still used the switch to do agressive 3d.

    happy flying

  • doesn't the blade cp have an invert switch? my x347 does, but i never use it, does it flip the cyclic controls round so it is as if your flying the right way up?

  • whoops, signed in on my bro's account :) please reply to this post

  • no, i think that you are thinking of the idle up switch, which usually brings the blade pitch to 0 at mid stick, and increases the throttle, depending on how its programmed. The inverted switch reverses the cyclic, for inverted flying.

  • oh does it reverse the pitch aswell then?

  • That is Incredible Nick !! Damn !!

  • how do they handle crashes

what cyclc servos are you useing

  • nick you fly like a pro ;-)

  • He is!

  • amıka koyim senın yavşak gött öyle helikoptermi sürülür hoşaf fuck you

  • two words, AWESOME!

  • Oh my god... you are my hero... Incredible flying!

  • you are krazy

  • insane flying

  • Excellent...!!!!!!!!

i know that you use gy401 and s3154.

    do you use any BEC?

and i wanna know your pitch setting.

  • Just when I thought I'd seen crazy 3D . . . this is absolutely amazing. I can't even believe someone would TRY this (let alone succeed) in such a small space.

  • Excellent... consider this small space!!!

  • i almost dont believe this

    this little chopper rox..

    pilot is ok too :)

  • better than you

  • After he lands upside down how does the heli remain balanced and not tip over?? I have a gaui and no way it will stand up on its head with stock configuration

  • because it is setup properly and balanced and trimmed, expensive gyro/servos. lots of things...

    good pioleting mostly

  • that was sweet how u landed on the ceiling! nice flying!

  • WoW Holy cow....You are the master

I never seen landing upside down..

  • I bet I can do the same, and not just that, in the end, it will be in 1,000,000 peices?

    :P

    Awseome man you rock. Crazzy

  • WOW WOW Speech Less !!!

  • I can not believe it YOU THE MAN!!!!!!!!!!

  • How is this man not in 3D Masters?

  • OOPS!!! I mean Nick.

  • I have to favoite this, nice job max

  • What the F*.-;k?!?!? ...can´t belive it...

  • Wow, I can pretty much do the same thing in that small of space. But mines more of a slow hover..

    jamie

    attf~

  • Holy S&*#! Nice flying. Lol my copter would have been in many pieces.

  • nice nice hehe crazyy

  • How the h... do you manage to do THAT is such a small space? I am SO impressed!!!

    Peter

  • Awesome job!!!!! what is your setup???

  • someday, you will rule the world

  • Holly &^%$... insane!
