Anyone knows if the 2.2 is better or worse than the 2.4???

2nd favorite vehicle I will own one just cant choose between the 110 and the 90 kinda leaning towards the 110

@nadddds I have the same problem, can't choose between the two.

I check with the sales people n they say the 90 is more for urban driving.

I think the 110 is more usuable in long run with the size and space.

I will choose the 90 as it's cheaper and I only like the look with very little off road., more city use.

The new defender is a totlally different series and more expensive, die hard defender fans will stick to the old look, so grab one while they are still available new.

@nadddds I m in Hong Kong where we can get new defenders. But I wish to buy in Australia where i stored it.

In Hk too much traffic n concrete buildings all4x4 are for looks only!

The wheels i can live with, after all, if your not happy with them, you can change them yourself. But i don't like the new front end, looks to me like its wearing Dane Etheridge's glasses!

At lease they kept the original design! Unlike these R/C DC100 Concepts thingys...

What the hell!! That front end looks awful...what posses someone to add those terrible plastic light surrounds and grille to such an iconic looking truck is beyond me?!! It looks like a Russian Gaz from the '80's! The best Defender ever made is by far the NAS D90 soft top from 1995!

@mrswinkyuk - God how many owners has the Coy had now? Working backwards I can recall Tata, Ford, BMW, .......and then I'm lost. But maybe Damlier? I owned a Defender (1999 TD5) and my biggest grip was it's lack of reliability. I got sick & Tired of paying for repairs and hoping that it was finally fixed for good.

The first vehicle ever seen by tribes living in the deepest jungles and/or highest/coldest landlays, have been this beautiful machine...what a pedigree! I love it! On the other hand, I have despised the Sporty Range Rover types for years now as they are vulgar, pretentious and exceedingly ugly in my eyes.

My opinion.

Lack of harmony in the design.

Horrible wheels.

They saw too many " Fast and Furious".

The best design for me is the good and old Defender from 2009, clean, with out all those accesories.
