the best part of my life was when i travelled the ROUTE 66 in june 2005 with my girlfriend. from chicago all the way to california! that route is the most historical place in the USA i think... that was a blast! me,my girlfriend and my good old 1970 chevelle...the best parts where in the desert of texas. i just loved the old gas stations and everything...many legends where born on this route that's for sure! ah by the way nice video. that video says FREEDOM, AMERICA :)!! THANKS FOR SHARING!
Great video and music. wow like a time machine went by to fast. Now i look in the mirror and see an old guy. well no regrets to wander is best. too many try so hard for the brass ring they never really enjoy the ride on the merry go round. something about the open road.
I'm not sure how much of it was actually filmed on Route 66. I'm pretty sure the shot of the guy hitch hiking in Germany wasn't. That goes for the Golden Gate Bridge too. And we got to see the entire 1955 Chevy lineup. Some good vintage traffic shots though.
again all i can say this video made my day! i feel young again. the heck with gas prices, i am gonna pull my 1972 chevelle out of the garage and take a spin. bought it 8/12/1972 and she still looks and runs good. we're growing old together. love to go back to 1972!
thats the spirit. thats what life is all about. have some fun and dont let the world dictate what u can and cant do. be a master of your own fate and enjoy it while you can..
This video actually made me feel young again! I feel so worn out the way the world is today. Yeah, I will pull my 1972 Chevelle out of the shed and take a spin. I bought it 8/12/72 and she still runs great. I was young then....
Great video and NICE old cars. My dad has a 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner 383 4speed and it's b5 blue and him and I would love to cruise Route 66 with it when we are done fixin' it up!!!!

I hitchhiked and travelled the 66 a few times in the late 60's.
I remember most trips were balazing hot. One was in the dead of winter and that was worse.
And, I do recall using the milage to the jackrabbit store to ease the boredom. I think the signs started popping up about 450 miles away from the outpost.
Nostalgia has made the memories more pleasant, though.
That was Cool! I totally enjoyed it and the wonderful music. My dad went from Chicago to California in 1941 and has been wanting to go again. I will play this for him.
We've all become complacent, lazy slobs with no will to roam. Power to those still willing to grab a lower gear and make it talk on a two lane twisty.
When I was a teen in the seventies, I took some trips down that memorable road with my grandparents. It truly was an innocent time of life. I wish I could take another trip down that route 66 and show my wife another side of life.

Great video! I want those days back! It is a shame that the kids of today will never know the innocence, charm, and fun of the 50's-early 60's era. It is long gone, but thanks to you for bringing some of it back for a little while.
Cool!I like the part where the guy in the hat and glasses waves and then makes a funny face like he shouldn't have been so friendly.I thought that part was funny.
Cute little film Rattman! I liked it. Movie makin' is where it's at. My small company of graphic artists are making a Route 66 mural for a restaurant chain so this was inspiring. Thanks.
Great video
Let's bring back those days
thanks
