Alanis Morissette is perfectly average looking which makes her a perfect blank slate to play "god". What she says when she tweaks Bethany's nose is "Dwerp". straight from script. Meant tomake very silly, minimize our delusions about the magic we've invested in god n religion. He protested his own movie to make fun of religious zealots. And to again nudge us for always fighting each other in the name of religion.

there was a fan created video for this song a few years ago. it had photos of the most beautiful and terrible aspects of humanity, the video ended with a scene of a person standing atop a mountain looking into the infinite blue sky. does anyone know what happened to that post? i've looked all over you tube for it, wondering if it was pulled for some BS reason. it is truly the best version of this song.

I'm just glad they still allow the song.The pictures the world has given me,through no fault of my own, let's me still understand the importance of this song. I saw this movie for the first time today.. I was raised as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and I left that religion long ago do to the fact that it made no sense why they teach one thing and do another. Then I looked into other religions and found they do the same thing. So I had questions.. which is also raised in this movie as well and now.. I am a beleiver in God, but not man made religion.. Thank you Jay and Silent Bob .. oh and yes.. God Alanis.. :-)
