It didnt work becouse intake pipe is all curved. That thing suppose to create vortex which have to get to the air combastion chamber, but becouse of your intake pipe the vertex air flow was loosing its self. You should of put it at the end of your intake pipe close to the combastion, or get straight pipe.

Compressed air would make the engine run lean. Less air it runs rich. This is why you do an ECU tune when you install mods that would affect these things.

Compressing the air doesn't necessarily make it hotter, it makes it denser. Turbochargers only really heat up the air since the whole turbo is hot as it's in the exhaust stream.
And if it's blocking airflow, it won't run richer or leaner as the engine's EFI system will be able to compensate.
What these really do is suck money out of your wallet and that's it. They're not driven so they don't actually do anything for your mileage or performance.

@MegaMalik08 ive heard they can jam and stop spinning which means you would be getting about half of the amount of airflow to the cylinders you usually would, thats bad haha the engine needs air obviously. but like it is already it does restrict airflow anything in the path of the air going to the engine will if you think about it. this does not drive air in, the air drives this thing and spins it.

@MegaMalik08 I don't know if it can screw the engine, but it can certainly make the car use more fuel and cause a little more wear to the engine as the engine has to work harder to maintain the normal airflow.

i got this for my ford and i read the comments so i though it wouldn't work..i got i big increase in performance! but i hadn't check gas performance yet.and it does not block any air it increases it.

It doesn't increase airflow....Sorry. This is a scam. That would be like claiming the air behind a pinwheel held out of a window while driving is traveling faster than the air in front of it. There is no outside force spinning the blade, increasing the velocity of the incoming air.

Let me just throw it out there. Dont change your oil. If your dumb enough to actualy buy a turbonator, i think you could severly harm your car with an oil change. By the way, that blue fluid they sell that shoots on your windshield, it doesnt work as coolant and oil as well. I know you might think its the same, but there really is a difference.

This is bad physics attempting to fool the ignorant. Unless the fan was being spun by an outside force, i.e drivebelt or electric motor then you are not getting any extra air compression. Here your just having the engine itself spin the fan which in return actually inhibits air flow. "You can't pull yourself out of your own bootstraps."

Compressed air would make the engine run lean. Less air it runs rich. This is why you do an ECU tune when you install mods that would affect these things.
Don't spend too much time considering this thing tho, everything I know about physics tells me that this is just a hunk of plastic that wouldn't do anything but clog your intake.

Yeah, I know nothing of Jettas... except for that 2001 Jetta 1.8T that I owned for four years. That car cost me more in maintenance than anything else I've ever owned (among that list, a 70's porsche, an 80's volvo and my 56 Bug). There is nothing special about a Jetta that makes it worth the extra headache versus something much better and cheaper to own like a Focus.
So how about you shut the fuck up and stop making assumptions?

Compressing the air doesn't necessarily make it hotter, it makes it denser. Turbochargers only really heat up the air since the whole turbo is hot as it's in the exhaust stream.
And if it's blocking airflow, it won't run richer or leaner as the engine's EFI system will be able to compensate.
What these really do is suck money out of your wallet and that's it. They're not driven so they don't actually do anything for your mileage or performance.
Also, Jettas suck ass.

spinning doesnt work but not spinning does spin the air inside and works just like tornado but it doesnt really work anyway bec its too big and looks like it does block air i rather choose tornado bec thats what i have and yes it does acually work people didnt test it right only way to test it is by being heavy on gas push it to the floor and test it it makes the mpg better like being light on gas is same as being hard on gas with tornado n u do feel the diff it lets u be hard on gas n saves gas

The reason your MPG are improving is because of reduced air flow. Less air means the motor adapts to burning less fuel at open throttle.

@idc1233333 Yeah well it works like a turbo, but instead of using exhaust it uses intake, so it's supposed to give you more air by using only the air you are taking in already to spin the fan? If it was well lubed and had some weight to it you might notice it easier to coast at highway speeds (very slightly) but it robs power in rising rpms, making it shit for anything really.

A brilliant example of a worldwide con is the mesh/oil type products incorrectly sold as air filters. They also decrease performance as the surface area is tiny compared to a proper paper element - so the holes need to be massive. That lets dirt in to the engine and the NOISE you hear is RESTRICTED AIR FLOW! Boy Racers=stupid.

I gotta v8 car and I put it into my intake hose not expecting to notice anything, but I DID very much so...It makes the car glide faster and you don't have to put your foot on the gas pedal as heavy.
