iv been introduced to fire poi spinning like 3 months and been practicing barely a month and not solid everyday. this video is my inspiration to be better everytime i have time to practice.iv seen this video so many times and it never fails to make me teary eyed...spinning is my destiny. i will be the best i can be for the rest of my life.
Yoo boss just a shout out to this video. Every week i'm coming to youtube watching the next poi video out there trying to pick up the new Tech that comes out stay up to date. Then I watch the a few kidz and there burns but its always good to see someone with Wonderful plane control and transition control. It really makes the piece beautiful! Wonderful job on the video. This is pretty crazy... I picked up Poi about a week ago... every where to go I am spinning as I walk... as I wait between classes... after about 2 days of no stop spinning I can do a two beat a three beat and the butterfly (though every now and then doing this ends up with me hitting myself... in the um... ya... that place...) and i can transfer between them all... I thought I was doing pretty good... I had only see friends do Poi never looked it up on you tube before I find myself intimidated

I have been trying to get to the point to use fire and Im still not there after 3 and 1/2 years but I also have to try to fig. out moves and variations by myself, I have no one to teach me. But keep it up man, this is awesome! If you know anyone in Alaska that does this let me know, as far as I know Im the only one. Im looking forward to another video from ya.

@sephi1204 thanks for commenting, the best yay i have found to get those continuous spiral wraps is to let the chains wrap once around each hand then start the spiral. I can put up a video if you would like, and in the mean time this might help:
That was helpful, tried it so often with the chains wrapped only once each hand, but still i didn´t get the speed ;P Know it works better, didn´t try for a long time and mentioned happily that my speed increased a lot...thanks for that =))

Very good my friend, You've come quite a long way's since we first met. Your plane change's and floats are dope as hell. There was a couple of small points where your anti-spun flowers were out of sync, but other than that it was a superb video. We really need to get together sometime and spin.

Those fire poi are designed and made by me. I do want to start selling them. as of now if you wanted to by those heads they would be 85.00 for a pair. they are comparable to an Isis poi head. those are heavy heads, if you wanted something smaller there are two smaller variations of that head that would be 75 or 65.
I have until 2 weeks before Thanksgiving, so a long time. Is there a video with your poi head design? I did want to buy a pair of Isis poi. The one problem is, you can't get just the head for some reason. Which one give a bigger flame is the real question ;-)
