Ok, I ordered my 2G iPhone already unlocked/jailbroken from amazon.com. I got it, and it was unlocked/jailbroken. I was going to do an update, & now its locked and staying on the "Emergency Call" screen. Ive downloaded everything & watched almost every youtube video out there to try & figure this out and NOTHING is working.

Unfortunately, its hard to jailbreak and unlock iphone on windows, but not impossible. I had 2g too, I tried my but too but failed. Let me tell you on windows, you can use Redsn0w to do the process but u must have 3.0.1 on ur iphone...and then use 3.0 when restoring (ipsw) file. But i u got mac then u just u use pwn software, make the custom firmware and update it using itunes. If u wanna download then I can send u the link to download the right softwares needed to do the process.

Hey there drancill,I followed this guild not so long back and it worked great!Your a legend! However, I've only gone and updated the firmware to 3.0(through iTunes)! I know we're still waiting for the dev team to release quickpwn 3.0 so in the mean time I thought I'd follow your guild once more to 'downgrade back to 2.2.1,but an there's always a but, everytime I click shift+restore and select the 2.2.1 firmware I get an error message (1600) and can't get anywhere with it! Do you have any ideas?
