I seriously doubt wether the rover had anything close to 900bhp.

All you would see would be clouds of blue tyre smoke and probably a few cogs and wheels falling out behind. Given the weight of the 200 it would only need 350bhp to kill a standard m3 in a straight line. If the M3 was turbo'd as well it would be a different matter though.

Yeah quick question, how long did that last? I have had many T series powered mobiles in the past, and am wondering what original parts were maintained whilst outputting 900bhp? Not many I presume. Maybe the block?

@peaps its obviously just gonna be the block, the maximum output of the t-series was the 2 litre turbo at 198bhp, why would they put components in that could withstand 900bhp when lesser quality parts will do more than enoug. by sayin that the worlds fastest fwd car is powered by a t-series i was just pointing out that the t-series is also a highly tuneable engine whether you knew it or not

Yeah, I appreciate what you're saying. All I am saying is that the S54B32 is a far superior engine. I mean, lets face it, the T series can output a lot of power when force-fed which a lot of compressed air. But then, probably so can most engines. A NASP engine that develops 114bhp per litre is more impressive.

The 1st thing I noted was that the people was really far away from the drag race, which is nice. We don't see this often on some drag races which becomes dangerous.

you guys are stupid. i owned an audi a4 and it felt solid as a rock but mega expensive to fix if it went wrong. i now have a rover 200vi with the vvc engine and its awesome. yeah build quality isnt great on rovers but look at the price difference from new! and as for the ignorant english on here, why is it always the war and world cup that is used against germans?? amoredfist you need to shut up and dave88 you need to also shut up and grow up. its only a car!!!!!!

@216GTI head gasket if very weak in hot weather countries(because of the thermostat and thermocontact)once you change them for a colder ones the engine is ok
