@audex Yes, there IS a real Gekisai Dai Ichi/Ni. It is the version taught by Chojun Miyagi Sensei after WWII. Most Goju ryu practitioners know that the versions known as Gekisai Sho or Ni and that the term "Dai" means the greater or the last version taught by Miyagi. If u look at the various kai-ha u will see the difference. E.g. Yagi Sensei's group does it the pre-WWII version, where Miyazato Sensei's group do the Post WWII version.
