My Kindle 2 is on my personal list of "Greatest Things Ever". It unfortunately does not have the best selection, many key titles are missing. But I believe that since Amazon must now compete with the Barns&Noble Nook and its superior selection, they will increase their own selection to match, they'll have to. Amazon now says that it can natively read PDF documents since a software update, but I haven't figured out how yet.

looks like a book-killer but a book you really like is better in a nice hardcover and with pizza-, coffee-, and chocolatestains on it to show character and history and ....a book-collection made of paper looks very nice

Well, when you buy it, you get unlimited data with it, and I don't think you need to pay for it, thats one reason it's bit expensive.
