If these companies don't want people to take advantage of these coupon deals, they need to make it so the registers don't accept the coupons. Good post, btw!
Wow if she really wants to get all technical the coupon clearly excluded and item the Quantum 10-12 count as long as it wasn't that it's cool sheesh that lady went kray what an CVS manager ass kisser. My take on the Loreal deal was the ecb was'nt suppose to kick out using the 5 dollar off on 2 for the on sale items, but it did. Then again if i get a ecb by mistake that's more money i will be spending in CVS over Walgreens.....
In regards to how the things work with coupons and the manufacturer losing money or its "taking" from them here is how it works......Manufacturers make the product and once it goes to market it has a nice mark up. They offer coupons to encourage sales of that product. Increased sales even with coupons are more revenue for the manufacturer.
@jennyrose1023 The retailer gets face value and 8 cents handling so that is a nice kick back for them from the manufacturer for taking the coupons and often results in more orders for the product by the retailer to the manufacturer. Coupons are a huge money maker for not just the maker of the product but the store carrying the product. Even if the couponer gets the item for free the manufacturer and store have both made money on the transaction. I too was offended by the video and clueless mgmt.

oh I think the companies get as much from us as we do them...we ADVERTISE their products! We try them we show them online, we give them away...believe me, we are cheap advertising for them...smiles...and they don't mind giving us a break...there are companies out there that you can contact that will send you coupons to encourage people to use their products....you hang in there! Jane and Priscilla both do couponing videos but the difference between them I think is Priscilla actually goes out of her way to help us.. Jane just tells us what she buys and tells us to go to her site for more info really why watch the video in the first place?

Well said, I was a FORMER subscriber of Jane's channel until today. I believe that everyone is entitled to their opinion however I don't feel that people are entitled to be disrespectful when sharing it. I felt like I was being chastised and did not appreciate it. No one forces companies or stores,for that matter, to produce coupons! They do it because it's of benefit to them....period. Stores even get reimbursed a handling fee for many coupons as well as the face value ( not a reduced value if that's what you were given) of the coupon! What's even more crazy is that she removed the video & then re-uploaded it without all the comments. She is still in the wrong about the coupon altogether. It specifies that the coupon cannot be used on 10/12 ct of QUANTUM. It says nothing about a count restriction for the other listed Finish products. So coupon fraud only occurred if the coupon was used on 10/12 Quantum. The woman cannot read and has the nerve to be preaching to others....

I love the the fact that she disabled the comments and ratings. smh. You are right re: the hair coloring. It CLEARLY states not to use on clearance items. So if she did the deal she is just as guilty. And her tone! No one forces companies or stores,for that matter, to produce coupons! They do it because it's of benefit to them....period. Stores even get reimbursed a handling fee for many coupons as well as the face value ( not a reduced value if that's what you were given) of the coupon! What's even more crazy is that she removed the video & then re-uploaded it without all the comments. She is still in the wrong about the coupon altogether. It specifies that the coupon cannot be used on 10/12 ct of QUANTUM. It says nothing about a count restriction for the other listed Finish products.
