Each school determines which years they are national champions. The NCAA only provides a list of selections and the entities that selected them. Different standards are used by different schools. Going by that, Notre Dame has 21 recognized titles.

This has nothing to do with being a hater. It has to do with facts. 1941 Alabama's record 9-2. Finished ranked 20th. Minnesota was undefeated and is the recogonized NC. Alabama didn't even win the SEC that year. Only Bama fans recognize 1941 as a NC year. It wasn't. They weren't even in the top ten.
