Can anyone PLEASE tell me all the songs and parts of songs in the background of this clip? I'm so curious and starving of listening and recognizing those songs/bands. I know the first one is exdus, but the other background music i have HONESTLY no idea, any dude help for the mate right here'?¿
in the last couple seconds with the bands names i swear i saw lamb of god, disturbed and killswitch engae. fuck them they don't have anything to do with this. focus on thrash itself
@jsmgimp You're bitching about other bands that aren't thrash being in this film. I'm just saying they are probably just fans of thrash and are talking about it...
This is one of my favorite movies/documentaries of all time. No matter how many times I've seen it, I watch it again and again, but I never lose interest. They did a great job with this. Thrash metal is fuckin amazing.
I'm 37 year's old now,and this music is still my favorite type of music after all these years, i've been into thrash since i was 10 years old, no other music got me hooked like it did, 80's and early 90's thrash metal rules period!!!!!
^^^ this dude is openly saying Trivium is a better "thrash" band then Sodom, Death Angel, Kreator, Megadeth, and Testament... Feel free to put his ass in his place.
Jesus Christ....I'm not a fan of Corey Taylor, but he never said he was apart of the thrash seen. They're not just interviewing the thrash bands, they're also interviewing bands and artists that were influenced by thrash. Chill out dudes...
Hey guys, lay off Corey Taylor. He doesn't claim to be such a huge figure in thrash, so I don't know why you guys are bagging on him because he's interviewed on a documentary about thrash. Did you guys ever think that maybe he LISTENED to this kind of stuff? Seriously, just watch the fucking trailer.
Corey Taylor Was Born in 1973 which means in 1982 he was 9 years old and claims to have been part of the scene In its Early Days.. He is a Joke and A Fake and he Looks Like a Pussy without his Gay Dread lock Mask.
@LeatherCasket he never said anything about how he was apart of it, and if what your saying is true then shadows fall and lamb of god shouldn't be on the movie either cause they were kids to when thrash started
@LeatherCasket I got into metal when I was seven, thats when I listened to my first metallica, and iron maiden album, master of puppets, and powerslave
I saw that happen for real i was at a DEATH concert for their leprosy LP and i met Chuck and Rick Rozz before the show because this dude in my band at the time was interviewing DEATH for his college radio's show and I talked to them for a few minutes about BC Rich's i was about 15 anyways and this kid stage dove and landed face first on the concrete floor and they hauled him away and kept thrashing. i was right there in the mosh pit it was awesome. well not the dude getting hurt but the show.
I loved this documentary, stop hating on Corey, I may not be the biggest Slipknot fan but can appreciate Coreys love for the old school. I think they could have given more time to the German scene, go a little more into detail with Sodom and Destruction,Protector and Iron Angel monster bands, also, some bands that I think should have gotten some mention, Devastation (from texas) Artillery, Machine Head, and Toxic Holocaust! Anyway I wish I was 18 in 1983!!
@afoolisharrangement as well as Vendetta and Tankard, and ofcourse a much more in depth view of the AMAZING Brazilian thrash bands like Holocausto, MX, Sarcofago, just to name a few, ofcourse I know they couldnt make a 5 hour movie but man, just seeing all those great bands, the clothes, the era, made me long for those times so much!
This is a very cool documentary. Recommended to anyone with even a passing interest in the subject. Hard to believe that 25 years have passed since the "golden age" of thrash!!!
