They actually have a hydraulic system in the new carrera's to give about an inch and a quarter more clearance when entering or exiting a bumpy area including a lip such as a parking lot.

However, this guy didn't fuck anything up. It's just plastic on the lowest part of the kit that can be replaced and is flexible.

991 is the name of the line, the model (which gives the year and specific design) is 997. same like for the BMW 3, there is 49,39 etc. so 991 and 997 is the same car but there is a old 991 which got another 99- number. Like the mercedes S-class, theres a old one and a new one, they got different numbers.

911 includes all of porsche 911 including 993 , 996 and 997 (997 is the the latest version of the 911 starting from 2005 for the carrera and 2007 for the gt3 , 997 is characterized by its round front headlamps)

haha. The GT line was built especially for the street. They are pretty much track cars tailored to the street, so Porsche has done a lot to make it possible to drive off track.

a) lived in SoCal all my life. They only care about it in LA AFAIK. I think the tickets a fix it or 40 bucks, I forget

b) they usually use it as an excuse to pull you over for something they cant prove, or for a DD screen

c) you can get away with it if you put a plate on the dash, but youll still get pulled over cause they "cant see it."

lesson: if you have or do anything illegal in you car in LA, put on your front plates.
