    really enjoy your workout videos because they give me ideas for my workouts. I also posted a video response which shows me and my friends working out together....which is also and incentive for each of us to get off our asses to get to the gym. Just keeping it fun!   • Hey Hahn, my cousin is new to working out, and I'm not too familiar with it. He's 5 10, 150lbs, 17 years old and I'm not sure about body fat. But he really wants to first cut off the fats on his waist, then muscle building/toning. Do you have any tips as to how to start/what to do and what kinda work outs. And a diet if could be so kind.   • What type of workout would you recommend to girls?

  • @lolitaloyalty It doesn't matter if you're a guy or girl.. workouts are all the same you just need to change the weight / reps to cater your body. Just stay with light weight / high reps for toning and moderate to heavy weight / low reps if you want to gain size in certain muscles. There's no difference from a guy / girl doing bench.. the movement is the same and it targets the same muscles.

  • Hey Hanh you are a true inspiration to me and i really look up to and your advices. My biggest concern/question is, what is your caloric intake like throughout the day? From seeing your blog and the food you posted, there is no way in the world you're going to get enough calories in to maintain your physique. Are the foods that you posted all that you eat? what else do you add onto that besides supplements? my last question is do you really need to be in a caloric surplus to gain good muscles?

  • @rsx06 I dont count calories. Just keep eating good it'll work. I've made it this far without counting calories so you should be able to too. If you get to pro bodybuilding level then yes thats when you count / weigh your food so you can make adjustments to land at a certain size/ weight for competition purposes. If you're just doing it just to look good and get big.. its not a big deal.

  • I posted before asking a question, but you mustn't have seen it.

    Just need some advice, and would like to hear your opinion.

    I'm 19, 5'7", and 178lbs...21% bodyfat.

    Question 1) Should I cut while maintaining the muscle I've already got before I attempt to add size?

    Question 2) Once I lean down to bellow 10%, can you suggest a way of adding some size without getting fat? I don't want to do the traditional...bulk/cut...bulk/­cut.

    Just want to maintain a nice muscular physique year round:-)

  • @pnpyoass Yeah but they take time to edit and make it worth watching. Workout videos with no editing have a lot of background noise and lots of clips are just pointless. Its easier for me to write things down when I have time. I can post more info that way.

  • Hey champ, I'm trying to lose body fat before building up muscles. Would running burn more body fat faster or be like ice1cube and just work out mad and get lean that way? I know it will take a lot time but which would you prefer?

  • @killurmotherfauker I would lose the fat first. Its easier to see your actual gains that way instead of hiding it underneath the fat.. you'll have less motivation that way.

  • @killurmotherfauker if you wanna lose fat do high intensity activities. Gaining muscle mass will also help you burn more calories throughout the day.

    does a peanut butter and jam sandwich + milk count as a meal? cos that's what i usually eat in between meals to consume more calories.

  • Hanh would you say taking shorter breaks but sacrificing form is more beneficial than taking longer breaks in order to make sure you do the lift with correct form? Because I hear you should only take a minute long break between sets, but I can't do that without losing my form.

  • @vnn117 Don't worry too much about form if you're bulking.. you will grow regardless. Just push yourself and lift hard. If you're trying to cut down or bring out certain parts that are lacking then yes keep your focus and lighten the weights. As far as your question on basketball; I try to stay away from cardio as it burns too much calories it would be hard to gain muscle mass. It would be okay for someone trying to cut fat. Sports may injure you and sometimes you're not able to lift.

  • hey goku, ive been working out for like 4months each month id put a picture ofmyself and show my gains, atm each month im gaining and really happy with my self, and after year or two i will post video with all the images together to show the gains to everyone and another reason it is good to take picture or video of gains each month or weeks is to show urself and to make urself feel better if u worked hard u will see the difference if u see not much gain, u will know to try harder happy new year

Remember to get some shots of your legs, you don't have to post them now but later on when your legs develop you will be able to show a significant difference. Just keep photos and and measurements for yourself.

  • hey hanh i'm 16, chinese, been working out pretty much consistently for the past 2 years, doing weights with 8-12 rep range. i've got bigger but not really big like my white friends. i've a problem building mass, and i try to believe that mass comes with strength, but i can do regular squats of 130kg (8-10), DB bench 35kg each hand etc. and i'm definitely not as big as others who can do the same.

    can you suggest some things i should do to put on size? (i'm taking weight gainer, currently 74kgs)

  • @AndrewzBoi im 16 to...respect for your weights.....i have 100kg and 185cm and i can do squats only with like 110kg...keep it up man we whities have a lot more fat....when you reach that body you want you are not gonna have to stick to diet and cardio like most of whities do.keep working hard!

  • @AndrewzBoi You don't eat enough that's for sure. I would suggest looking at my supplement video for better supplement recommendations. Weight gainer is mainly flour.. which is carbs. They'll disguise this as 'proprietary blend' on the ingredient label. Also, just take a picture of your meals and post it on your blog and I will take a look at it. I'll post mine up later.

(roughly - but not intense, i am a full-time uni and working part time, so sometime i do more cheat meal) and I'm not sure if my body has became bigger? well actually im an endo-meso, so basically i wanna loose some fat around my body...   • @HanhChampion I've been meaning to ask, when you started getting bigger, did you notice a change in how people acted towards you? Once I broke out from that skinny guy mode, and got into a larger frame, most people seem to give you a bit more respect. Either people you haven't seen in a while, or meeting new ones. That's the only motivation nowadays; either to look good for myself, attract girls, and basically you get more people "going" your way.

  • @k0d14k1 Yeah pretty much everyone wants to be your friend. Once you get 'too' big then it starts intimidating people or getting more haters so I just wear long sleeve when I go out.. like in this video lol I just look normal when I'm out.

  • I would like to say, that keep going to gym is how you get stronger. Sometime will skip days, make excuses, etc. As long as you do what ever your workout it constantly. You'll get strong as goku. Don't give up.
