  • The 1974 Angel by them was much better IMO...its with bob welch and nicks isnt in the band yet...much much groovier....check it out if you can...its on the heroes are hard to find album.

  • I read in a book "Storms" that this song was written about Mick Fleetwood.

  • music is crap today

  • Anyone notice how she keeps wiping her nose and sniffing?

  • @peejawt1 That's what cocaine does.

  • Stevie had full control of the high. She was on pitch and in tempo the whole time.

  • I effing love this version. Love, love, love!

  • i love them!!!!!!!!!

  • Love this thanks for sharing!!!

  • i have been a fan since high school. music was beautiful back then, i feel sorry for today's youth. they cannot go back and remember all the wonderful memories of that era and the music associated with it. ROCK ON FLEETWOOD MAC1

  • I read this song was about her and her secret love for Mick.

  • @vakantieland4 - actually it is documented by Stevie that this song is about Lindsey. She said that she still LOOKS UP WHEN YOU (LINDSEY) WALKS IN THE ROOM and other comments refer to Lindsey.

  • I <3 Stevie!!! She is so talented...

  • thanks for the lyrics!

  • She keeps rubbing her nose. Damn, she loved the ya-yo.

  • wonderful!

  • The way this song segues into "You Make Loving Fun" is pure magic!

  • Truly they are the tightest live band I've ever seen.. even Floyd and Zeppelin is a wasted, tripping mess in concert; but these guys never fuck up.

  • Another line please !! No make that a rail.!! yes yes.

  • this song is about a man from the story of rhiannon aron the gret lod of darknes

  • @MrTedrow - No it's not - this song is about Lindsey as she has confirmed in one of her interviews regarding the meaning behind her songs. She said she wrote this about Lindsey after their split because she "still looked up everytime he walked in a room and said Hi" etc etc.

  • @Stocky607 How do we REALLY know...she does change her stories all of the time...lol....she does...

  • This is such a rockin' version of this song.......quite different to the doco version. Would love to see this show.

  • I would like to see them singin' Magnet and Steel with their pal Walter Egan. thanks for sharing!

  • Just curious, has anyone in the band ever commented publicly on Carol Ann's book? Cuz she makes some explosive accusations in that book, especially toward Lindsey.

  • This is an awesome moment between Stevie an Lindsey....

  • Yeah John's bass line in awesome.... however everything about this song is amazing!! would die to hear this on tour now!!! this song and SOTM. THAT would be brilliant!

  • I love John's bass line

  • where can i download this version?

  • I prefer the version from the tusk documentary (more energetic, less coked up :D), but it's still fine to see another one, thank you for posting !

  • What a voice..........what a talented group...

  • I read the book "Storms" by Carol ann Harris - Lindsey's girlfriend at this time - and she states that Stevie wrote this song for Mick ....who knows ??.....awesome song no matter what - I wish they would play it on tour !!!

  • @pilsnergirl17

Carol Ann Harris is the *last* person involved in the Fleetwood Mac soap opera that I would listen to about anything.

  • I was very dissappointed in her book...... i am just patiently waiting for Stevie or even Lindsey to write a book - though it is fun to guess what their songs are about, i would love to know straight from them - their story - as only they can tell it..... i read Mick's book - its very good !!

  • @pilsnergirl17

I'll pick up Harris's book if I accidently run across it in the library or the thrift store. Even before I'd read the bad reviews of it, I just had a vibe that she was trying to cash in on her former relationship with Lindsey. Pathetic, really. I did love Mick's book though! I know Stevie has talked in interviews about a memoir...but I have to admit, I hope some of the mystery of her songs stays intact...that's part of the fun, in my opinion. :D

  • Gee, do you think maybe she just had a bit of a cold? Traveling can be he!! on the body. Plus the coke, singing, smoking, drinking, etc.

  • probably the best song stevie did with the mac. great signature song of her ability. the studio version is chilling.

  • Hi, Why are there NO videos of Stevie singing "Wild Heart" in concert??!!!

Are there any? The only one I found is the one where she is singing backstage.

    Thanks.

  • wish they would play this on the tour

  • cool version..thanks for posting

  • that girl was me.................kat

  • Great song, they really rock.

  • i love fleetwood mac an hate how pepl hav to go on about the drugs an crap WHO CARES!! They were one of the biggest bands of their time and their music will b around for years to come.. guys get over it aye its soo pathetic, they are legends and always will be !! and i no id b findin it hard to sing songs about pepl u shared so much with n loved, im glad now they have all gottn over the heartache!! 19yrs young an will always b a huge LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM FAN!!

    Thanks for posting this

  • Also a very important thing to know is that Fleetwood weren't the only band out there into drugs. Fleetwood Mac was is and always will be one of the greatest bands of all time Stevie and Lindsey will always rock.

  • During the beginning of the song did anybody notice she must have had an ichy nose....or could it it something else.......Hmmm! ;)

  • Sometimes, an itchy nose is just an itchy nose ;)

  • Lol, I have to laugh at Stevie's reaction to Lindsey. It's like,'Eh hello? I'm singing here!' and you just know Christine is just off to side thinking, 'They're at it again...'

Fabulous version of Angel. Thanks for posting it.

  • ahe looks so pissed off at Lindsey...LOL

  • Cause he was knocking her beret thing off.. haha

  • She looked like she was gonna smack up the back of his head when he was hitting the beat on her shoulder ahah.

  • Chase a ghost through the fog....

I know so many people who waste so much time and energy on that..

Thanks for showing me the light Stevie

  • Hahaha Stevie is like, "get the hell back to your own microphone Lindsey... " Are you nuts?

  • I like this live version better than the album version but maybe its just because i heard this one first.

  • Love it :)

  • "Ooh, you try hard

But you'll never catch me -- yeah"

    love this song!

  • The tempo is waaaaaaaaaaaaay too fast. It steamrolls over the tension and beauty of the studio track. And Stevie's voice is already going, that growly scream... her voice is not strong, not like Janis's, who was her idol. Still, this version rocks.

  • Stevie is 31 here. Janis died on her 27th. What would have been left of her voice four years later?

Well, whatever. Janis was her heroin (pun intended),but Stevie always had her own style. She maybe copied Janis' intensity, but never her voice: let's be fair, Stevie's voice stands on it's own and needs no comparison.

  • Don't blame them!! Coke is great as well as this video and the band rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rock on!!!!

  • haha they cant stop rubbing their noses. oh the coke ... well this performance is still amazing as is stevie! I LOVE YOUUUU STEVIE!

  • this song is about Stevie and Mick not Lindsey.

During the tusk recordings their secret afair had broken up and Stevie was finding it difficult to cope with having to see him all the time and pretend that nothing was wrong between them even though he had left her to go out with a good friend of hers, Sara Recor.

  • I dont think Stevie has ever said

    who this song is about.

    The lyrics are beautiful. :)

  • The sexual tension between Stevie and Lindsey in this is obvious the way they keep looking at each other despite the fact that their coked up.

  • Just make out.. i know u hate eachother :) LOL

  • GREAT STUFF!!!!

  • LB looks way cooler with the afro and beard. One of the greatest pickless guitar players ever.

  • She looked pissed off at Lindsey when they were sharing the mic.

  • I'd probably be on coke too if I made millions a week by working closely daily with people who broke my heart.

  • Both are in fine voice here. Mick and John, FM rythym section rock solid, too. Thanks, Crystal.

  • IMO Nicks was at her absolute peak during the Tusk era, both album and tour...all of my favorite live versions of every one of her songs up to that point in time come from this tour (bar "Rhiannon", that was still best in '75-'77), her vocals were *very* strong on things like this and "Sisters Of The Moon" and her wardrobe was at its most tasteful and colorful. The coke wasn't yet a problem, although both her and Lindsey don't make any attempt to hide it here...

  • Coke wasn't a problem? They had bottle caps filled with the stuff on the stage.

  • Coked up or not Fleetwood Mac was and still is the greatest band ever!!!

  • coked up for sure especially stevie and lindsey.

  • Amazing!

  • WOW, this is the bomb. Thanks so much for posting this. Do you have any more of this show that you can post? Do you know where it was filmed at? THANKS AGAIN!!!!!

  • Just uploaded Save me a place from this show!

  • Filmed at the Capital Centre in Landover (MD) on Nov. 25, 1979.
