  • This is actually called 'Reaction in G.' It's a common misconception that it's called Stoned Alone. There is a single called Stoned Alone, but it was never released or even bootlegged, so technically it doesn't exist.

  • 0:00 to 0:06 lovin richard wrights keyboard solo

  • i'm am nicely stoned, and enjoying this music so much!

  • so it's safe to say stoned alone and reaction to G are two different songs?

just wanted to point that out

  • yeah they are

  • ey fuck u buddy!

  • This sounds it could be on the first Black Sabbath LP. and years before. Go floyd

  • yep. proto metal...

  • @Sageman666 that's it... Barrett seemed to have it, but not the rest of them.

  • yeah you want the album? or have you got it yet? I can give you a link to it if you want, but you need to know how to operate torrents

  • It was never officially released, so you will only find it on bootlegs.

  • why don't you re download it?

  • o hell yeh turn it up

  • You can hear Roger Waters early bass style there, as well as Wright "oriental" organ melodies. This is definitively the early Floyd. IM not very fond of this phase of their career, but for historical research purposes this track is interesting.

  • I'm STONED!! :D

  • So am I.Pink Floyd are the buisnes.

  • Pink Floyds songs has not been a hailing to LSD since Berret left actually...

  • tho we disagree i'm pleased 2c your opinion!

  • They were recorded in Stockholm during the same tour. Five songs were recorded.

  • Love it! its trippy

  • This is at the Star Club, Copenhagen, Denmark from Sept. '67 and it's called "Reaction in G", yer plank! "Stoned Alone" isn't an instrumental and was demoed but has never even appeared on the bootleg circuit. "Reaction.." was so called because Floyd hated being expected to play "See Emily Play" to punters who only came to hear their big hit.

  • As someone else mentioned, this is also on the 'Have You Got It Yet' bootleg anthology, where it's listed as 'Reaction In G', and it's the first track of a concert recorded in Copenhagen, Denmark on the date mentioned. There's 5 more songs from this gig aswell and it sounds awesome!

  • misses out the start by 5 secs. not same without it. still quality

  • sorry guys for not trusting this is the floyd .but yeap it really is!!i just downloaded some podcasts it is like 5 hours of diferent lot of recordings and all that

  • yest it's the floyd. i heard this on the "have you got it yet" set. this might be one of the recordings where someone snuck a pocket size recorder into the studio while listening to a session recorded in 66or 67.

  • Comment removed

  • It's an audio recording, silly! I've heard this before.

  • its actually just syd barrett, after he started to lose it from excessive intake of LSD.

  • listen you child minded fuck, can't you understand this WAS pink floyd you god damned degenerate

  • were you there to say yes they are?fucking moron idont give a single thing what you said.fuck off.i bet you dont even know who you are .fucking rude bastard
