Yes, history of prosecution should be common to both groups, but it seems no one wants to see it. MTV heavy rotations for sure boost the sales, but yes, there is world outside the MTV. What I generally dislike with dancehall is that it tries to justify the street violence as right, contributing to gang culture, instead of roots reggae that used to turn youth to the right side. Buju just needs to be more roots artist and less dance hall don and he can easily be out of it, only if he wants it. It seems with his "victim" case (on trying to buy coke) he will also capitalize.Sad world.
