I'm not a Bush supporter, far from it, and I disagree with the Patriot Act, the Iraqi war, and numerous other things passed by this administration, but I think Bush makes a valid point. The las was passed by a constitutionally approved process. It was subject to review by the Supreme Court failed the test. System worked in this case. If we can only get the Patriot Act recinded. As Franklin said, when you give up liberty for security, you wind up with neither.

Organboi, Please reread my comment dispassionately. I don't know what you read that isn't there. I am commenting on the statement bush made in THIS video. His statement in that a law was passed using the constituionally prescriped method. That is not saying the law passed was constitutional. Many non-constitutional laws are passed. Then we rely on individuals, organizations, and institutions to challange them in order to be reviewed by the Supreme Court.

PART II. Regarding the Iraq invasion, yes it is something you either agree or disagree with. I even allow that others may have a morally valid position to be eguivical about it. After evaluation, I am opposed to it. I do support the war in Afganistan. However, I think it has been poorly managed by this administration due to the overriding attention paid to the erroneous occupation of Iraq. You erroneously say that I allowed the Iraq war. How so?
