@sweet161402 His foreign policy IS radical but only in the sense that it is a large change from our current policy. The step from total "insanity" to total "sanity" is a large step, and therefore will be called "radical" by people who have interests in not changing. Anyone who has ANY knowledge of our history in the middle east knows that his policy is, not only the best, but the only sane one.
Foreign policy? Without Ron Paul's economic policy we are destined for total collapse. Then there will be no money for defense much less never-ending intervention. No economy and no military. Not an appealing prospect. The choice is peace and prosperity or depression and tyranny.
he's wrong in world war one america helped the british defeat germany. The US inevitably joined WWII because they didn't stop the japanese., even though we didn't wanna join the war
@dakruise1 WWI led to WWII if you really study it. Also WWI was coming to a stalemate and there would've been deals worked out between all powers, but then Americans started pouring in 30,000 at a time and they broke the stalemate and it led to the Treaty of Versailles and reparations toward Germany, which in turn led to social strife and the rise of Nazi Socialism. It's the pebble in the pond, actions invoke reactions, often times unforeseen and devastating.
Holy sweet merciful FUCK!!! Kansas just deployed more soldiers to Afghanistan, and you know what their mission is? To promote agriculture and business in fucking Afghanistan!!! They want to spend our money and time teaching farmers to farm and people with no money to conduct business! What sheer BRILLIANCE!!!
We ought to bomb Iran with I-pads and Kindle electronic booklets loaded with American literature. The youth of Iran would LOVE to be free, but can't under the mullahs in control. Negotiating with Iran (who said Israel should be eliminated) would have to be done with a big stick TRADE, not military, policy to get them to calm down, and westernize on their own. The kids of Iran will lead the way over the generation that formed the revolution long ago.
RON PAUL, WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR AN ANSWER! TELL AMERICAN PEOPLE HOW EXACTLY RU GOING TO CREATE JOBS? OK LETS SAY ALL TROOPS CAME BACK AND THEN WHAT? Aww shoot. I really love ron paul's fiscal views, but I can't get on boards with this weak foreign policy of his. He want's more free trading with communist countries? We already have that with the second largest power in the world- communist china- which only got to second place BECAUSE of our trading policy with them. Just what we need is to lump in even more communist countries. And it doesn't sound like he supports isreal much.
If people like "Mars195" move to Mexico or Canada, the US would be a better place. Let them come to Canada and we'll let them have an entire forest for themselves to make stupid comments where no one could hear their ignorance!
why is "Mars195" upset with Dr. Paul? is it because Paul wants to save US lives and dollars? 3+billion $/year to buy Israel weapons and bullets to kill unarmed kids in the streets! Why should YOU pay for that? it'll only bring you hatred, not medical care for your family
I am a high school student in California, and I have came across Ron Paul's website and videos about half an hour ago after seeing a page about the 2012 presidential elections and their candidates on Yahoo. Although I just knew of his existence half an hour ago, hands down this is the best candidate on the list that I can see. Vote for this guy, my fellow Americans. He is the best of the chances that we have for a better future.

@sakonhagakure Except how does "talking to them" & divestment working for Obama?! i.e in Iran? It's failing, they grow bolder
Don't prop up the Saudis? Well, ok. But what will replace them? & what will they do with their formidable arsenal & gazillions of$? & without a counter balance to Iran, what will happen on that front? And what of the 'oil weapon', t'would make todays unemployment #s look positive! Bill Clinton tried ignoring foreign issues, AQ just grew more violent & daring.
Iran already has a counter weight in the region. Israel. And besides Iran is no real threat to us. What can they possibly do? They can't attack the mainland US, they don't have a missile delivery system to fire at our bases in the region and the Iranian people are the most pro American people in the region next to the Israelis. I may not agree with everything Dr.Paul says but he has 1 great point. Why are we so gung ho about securing Afghanistan's borders when ours are wide open?
@sakonhagakure I agree about yr borders 100%! Its nutz. Fences work, see 'West Bank' fence, despite controversy, it works
What can Iran do? They've already killed hundreds of Americans via their Lebanese proxy & they actively work to sabotage American interests i.e. in Iraq & Afghanistan. As they get closer to 'the bomb' they've grown fearless, as demo'd by the bombing attempt on US soil. Instead of USA, Iran can hit Saudi & UAE oil fields. Or enact terror Stateside (far more capable that AQ)
Unfortunately, the modern Republican Party, and the modern Democratic Party for that matter, does not reward caution, though; nor see it as a virtue, but rather a weakness. Gone are the days of a formal congressional "Declaration of War." In fact, the U.S. has now acted without express congressional military authorization on 125 separate occasions; a list that continues to grow.
@sakonhagakure I wish more people were like you and actually did some research before voting. Uneducated people voting without research are doing a great disservice to us all.
Dr. Paul has a much more difficult job than his opponents. He has to change minds through educating people first and has media fighting him all the way. His opponents simply have to read polls and make their opinions match what the uneducated people want and the people want what our media tells them to want. :(
Personally I don't agree with everything Ron Paul says but I have learned alot from listening to him. Personally I think he's wrong on Iran and nukes. They won't launch one themselves but they'll sell it to N.Korea or Venezuela and they'll use and i wish he'd say which founding fathers he agreed with because some of them (like the Adams family and Madison) would be Obama supporters today while Hamilton would back Newt Gingrich.and Jefferson might've supported Cain.
@sakonhagakure Ron Paul's views on Iran are certainly the main thing that people disagree with. Personally, I think this just due to the lack of people knowing about our history in the middle east (no disrespect to you, I fought in the US military for 25 yrs and didn't know). I didn't know that Saddam Hussein was an ally or that we gave arms to Bin Laden. May I respectfully ask you to watch a video on the subject? youtube search: ( you like ron paul except on foreign policy ) and pick # 1
I've studied the subject ad nauseam. We didn't give arms to Bin Laden specifically we gave them to the Muhajadeen to do to the Soviets what the Soviets did to us in Vietnam. And Saddam wasn't a friend like Israel or England it was just a simple case of the enemy of my enemy. As far as his foreign policy goes. I don't think we should police the world but on the same token non interventionism on our part doesn't work either. I just think we should better pick our fights
Nothing gives me hope like listening to Ron Paul speak! One of the few with the brains to examine our policies and one of the few with the guts to speak up against them!
Israel and Saudi Arabia are not worth a single American dollar or life!
the best part of ron paul is that his message goes so far beyond this pathetic excuse for an election. he carries ideals that are here to stay and here to grow as the bullshit keeps piling on.
with the election over, legalization of freedom will hopefully take stronger root than "yes we can".
Also we give more money to support Israel's surrounding enemies. We'd be supporting them more by giving no aid to either them or their ennemies than we are right now.
Just because some of the people who control the Fed are Jewish doesn't mean Israel runs it. Although, IMHO it would be better if the government did away with the Fed and didn't police the world as much. As Woodrow Wilson later said regarding his creation and implementation of the Federal Reserve Act:
"A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the Nation and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the world -- no longer a government of free opinion, no longer a government of conviction, and vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress, of small groups of dominate men."
@zvast Israel controls the United States. There is a lot of information out there on the subject and the power of their lobbyists controlling our government. I'm non an anti-Semite btw. I just don't understand why American people are so hell-bent on sending their children to die in defense of another country. A country who's Prime-Minister said he doesn't want our help.
@CarlDRocco anti-Semite is a misleading term. The Arabs and true Jews are Semites but most Jews are not.
Criticizing Israel's politics doesn't mean hate of Jews anyway.
As far as Americans being willing to die there, it's because they are volunteers and have no better future. If we had a draft, people would protest against wars.
@zvast You are right, they volunteer in hopes of being trained in a skill with the bonus of "what they are told is" serving their country. We don't need a draft because they are told they are fighting for the "just" cause of killing the people who attack us. However, they are the biggest supporters now of the only guy telling the truth. BTW, I did 25 yrs in the military and have spent time in Iraq, Saudi, Qatar, Kuwait...I am an Avid Dr. Paul supporter.
This man is an honest man. He knows that his views are unpopular with the republicans of whom he is apart and that he would be committing political suicide, but he stands by what he says. No matter whether you agree or not. Please respect this man for his guts. The people who would silence him are war mongers. They should heed the warning of being careful what you wish for....you might get it.
our foriegn policy continues to come back and kick us in the a** we helped overthrow the democratic government in iran in the 1950's wich led to the rise of the islamic government and the hostage crisis STUDY HISTORY, we funded and armed the mujahadien in afghanistan (al quaeda) in the 1980's STUDY HISTORY we inspired bin laden to make his first public statement of jihad against america with the building of our military bases in saudi arabia for no other reason but our intrest in oil, cont>
Hanoi remembers how our leaders refused to tell us the truth about the earlier North Vietnamese overtures for peace, how the president claimed that none existed when they had clearly been made. Ho Chi Minh has watched as America has spoken of peace and built up its forces, and now he has surely heard the increasing international rumors of American plans for an invasion of the North. He knows the bombing and shelling and mining we are doing are part of traditional pre-invasion strategy. -MLK '67
Ron Paul is the only one willing to restore the Constitution. The only one willing to save the nation. We are falling apart. He doesn't want radical change, he wants RESTORATION. He reminds me of Truman.
First off sir, I appreciate and respect your service to this country. But I do not appreciate the sentiment that you have to be a member of the armed services to be a true american and to have a valid opinion of foreign policy. Since Iraq, the country, did not commit any malicious attack against us, why should we have attacked them?
Plus 15 of the 19 hi-jackers were from Saudi Arabia supposedly so why don't we invade them!Bin Laden is a Saudi! The Saudi Prince has close ties with the Bush's!Opec is taking oil off of the dollar and putting it on the Euro!
Are you totaaly crazy!Let me guess you are voting for McCain! The only reason we are in Iraq is because Saddam was going to put his oil on the market in Euros and they have the 3rd largest oil reserve in the world! We invaded Afghanistan so we could build the pipeline to the Caspian Sea!Iran has the world's 2nd largest oil reserve!Actually do some research into 911 there is no evidence that Bin Laden was even involved!Go to the FBI website and look at his most wanted poster! No mention of 911!
Iraq had nothing to do with 911!Therefore we attacked a country that showed no aggression towards us and killed over 1 million of their citizens and lost 4000 of our own more than 911!So is it not true that Bush is responsible for as many American deaths as 911!Also check out Usama Bin Laden's most wanted poster on the F.B.I website there is no mention of 911 on it !When they were asked about this they said they had no hard proof of his involvement! Also we trained and armed radical islamists!
You are an idiot! Why should taxes be high on something that you don't do!I don't smoke either but I believe that people have the choice of what to do with their bodies! Why should the government be allowed to overtax any American when they spend 12 billion a month on an illegal and unjustified war!We are overtaxed for everything,we pay taxes on our property,an illegal income tax, school tax, social security tax when my generation won't even get any money back from it!This man is dead on!RON PAUL'08
Ron Paul!! Please knock some sense into these people. hasn't anybody ever heard of the holden rule? TREAT OTHERS AS YOU WANNA BE TREATED! what happened to that huh? even though ron paul is probably not gonna win the nomination, he has still made a difference in many people's lives. I love you Ron Paul
you are foulish in your over simplistic comparison of Ron Paul to Carter. Carter sent money all over the world to help other countries Ron Paul is for keeping out of other peoples fights and keeping our money for our own citizens in this good USA
n the year 1994 a mother and her son were driving near the forest and stopped to pick up a man that flagged them down. He was in camo with a gas masks and said there had been an accident. He then got in the car and told them to drive. After some time he told them to stop and then stabbed them both. Now that you have read this that man will kill you at 11:11 p.m. tonight, he will at your window with red glowing eyes and a k-bar knife. If you wish to live then repost this on 3 other videos
Do you elect a man for president judging from personal attributes or principles? Try to listen to what he saying with an open mind and you will make a better judgment.
Ok my brain was reponding to your quote, remember????? ("Our taxes have not gone up dummy.") I pointed out that they have and your to ignorant to realize it. Guess i can't talk sense to someone with none
again your so wrong, i get first hand info, i don't even watch cnn, or any of the propaganda news stories. and your out of your mind if you think hidden taxes (gas, Cigarette, and every other product with sales tax. along with income tax. Take off your tunnel vision goggles dude and wake up. Go RON Paul
Everyone that votes for any other candidate than RON PAUL should go right to the recruiter and sign their children up to go to Iraq, and does not have any right to cry about them coming home in a casket to parents that don't have a job and can't make their mortgage payment because their taxes have gone up to pay for this so called war on terror. Only people terrorizing is our government
Wheres your common sense. Think about this for a second. If you don't like your neighbors wife, why don't you go over their and throw her out of the house and see where not minding your own business gets you. Bet you get a black eye. And then see if you want to stay and push the issue
Why is the President of a corporation which has no jurisdiction over you or your State significant to you? Are you also concerned about the president of Coca-Cola?
America's seeing the light. It's the media that's trying to blind those who haven't. And what is it going to take? Ron Paul winning primaries. When Ron Paul wins New Hampshire, Dr. Paul's success will be undeniable.
But that's going to be the same country come 2010. Look up the North American Union. Lou Dobbs has a nice tirade about it here on YouTube. I'll look into moving elsewhere. I filled out a passport application the other day. I've never been outside the country before.
Great video. I love hearing Ron Paul speak about his non-interventionist policy. It seems so odd to me that I had never thought of it as being important before.

I don't think we should police the world but on the same token non interventionism on our part doesn't work either. I just think we should better pick our fights

Nothing gives me hope like listening to Ron Paul speak! One of the few with the brains to examine our policies and one of the few with the guts to speak up against them!
Israel and Saudi Arabia are not worth a single American dollar or life!
skuntem 2 years ago
the best part of ron paul is that his message goes so far beyond this pathetic excuse for an election. he carries ideals that are here to stay and here to grow as the bullshit keeps piling on.
with the election over, legalization of freedom will hopefully take stronger root than "yes we can".

hopefully the best thing that comes from this tea party movement is the next president of the US.

Why nobody else has guts to say this about Israel?
3 billion for a country that is not starving?
What does Israel do for USA in return?
They run our government, right?
zvast 3 years ago 5
zvast yes. The owners of the Federal Reserve, who issue our currency and therefore control our country, are Jewish.
OnIineWarrior 3 years ago 2
Also we give more money to support Israel's surrounding enemies. We'd be supporting them more by giving no aid to either them or their ennemies than we are right now.
eric710221 3 years ago 2

WingmanOP 3 years ago 4
Israel and Palestine are both evil, and the U.S. shouldn't be funding either side.
johnd94 2 years ago
@zvast Israel controls the United States. There is a lot of information out there on the subject and the power of their lobbyists controlling our government. I'm non an anti-Semite btw. I just don't understand why American people are so hell-bent on sending their children to die in defense of another country. A country who's Prime-Minister said he doesn't want our help.
CarlDRocco 1 month ago
@CarlDRocco anti-Semite is a misleading term. The Arabs and true Jews are Semites but most Jews are not.
Criticizing Israel's politics doesn't mean hate of Jews anyway.
As far as Americans being willing to die there, it's because they are volunteers and have no better future. If we had a draft, people would protest against wars.
zvast 1 month ago

KenMacMillan 4 years ago 3
First off sir, I appreciate and respect your service to this country. But I do not appreciate the sentiment that you have to be a member of the armed services to be a true american and to have a valid opinion of foreign policy. Since Iraq, the country, did not commit any malicious attack against us, why should we have attacked them?

Plus 15 of the 19 hi-jackers were from Saudi Arabia supposedly so why don't we invade them!Bin Laden is a Saudi! The Saudi Prince has close ties with the Bush's!Opec is taking oil off of the dollar and putting it on the Euro!
trufreedom87 4 years ago
Are you totaaly crazy!Let me guess you are voting for McCain! The only reason we are in Iraq is because Saddam was going to put his oil on the market in Euros and they have the 3rd largest oil reserve in the world! We invaded Afghanistan so we could build the pipeline to the Caspian Sea!Iran has the world's 2nd largest oil reserve!Actually do some research into 911 there is no evidence that Bin Laden was even involved!Go to the FBI website and look at his most wanted poster! No mention of 911!
trufreedom87 4 years ago
Iraq had nothing to do with 911!Therefore we attacked a country that showed no aggression towards us and killed over 1 million of their citizens and lost 4000 of our own more than 911!So is it not true that Bush is responsible for as many American deaths as 911!Also check out Usama Bin Laden's most wanted poster on the F.B.I website there is no mention of 911 on it !When they were asked about this they said they had no hard proof of his involvement! Also we trained and armed radical islamists!
trufreedom87 4 years ago
You are an idiot! Why should taxes be high on something that you don't do!I don't smoke either but I believe that people have the choice of what to do with their bodies! Why should the government be allowed to overtax any American when they spend 12 billion a month on an illegal and unjustified war!We are overtaxed for everything,we pay taxes on our property,an illegal income tax, school tax, social security tax when my generation won't even get any money back from it!This man is dead on!RON PAUL'08

n the year 1994 a mother and her son were driving near the forest and stopped to pick up a man that flagged them down.

Take off your tunnel vision goggles dude and wake up. Go RON Paul
dougy33432 4 years ago
Everyone that votes for any other candidate than RON PAUL should go right to the recruiter and sign their children up to go to Iraq, and does not have any right to cry about them coming home in a casket to parents that don't have a job and can't make their mortgage payment because their taxes have gone up to pay for this so called war on terror. Only people terrorizing is our government
dougy33432 4 years ago 3
Wheres your common sense. Think about this for a second. If you don't like your neighbors wife, why don't you go over their and throw her out of the house and see where not minding your own business gets you. Bet you get a black eye. And then see if you want to stay and push the issue

America's seeing the light. It's the media that's trying to blind those who haven't. And what is it going to take? Ron Paul winning primaries. When Ron Paul wins New Hampshire, Dr. Paul's success will be undeniable.
