Parliamentary Procedure: Background and Basic Rules

You made mention of the importance of designating which precedures apply to which type of meeting. In regards to a political meeting, these rules still apply, correct?  Or should I make them identify which rules they are using, or should I know this in advance? Thank you for putting this out.
