Wow. I love this guys talent, songwriting, harmonies, guitar playing and vocals. Usually. This video makes me thank God that I have never touched heroin and thank God that John is clean now and was able to produce the music we all know and love. The Red Hot Chilli Peppers are the greatest band of all time in my opinion and their best music was with John Frusciante's participation.

There is NOTHING beautiful about this. Not one thing. It doesn't take talent to do this. John has talent, but not here. All the people who spout "this is real raw emotion and that's what music is about" are just trying to be hip. This is just terrible...everything about it. this video is an oxymoron of sorts... when he was strung out and disconnected like that, he was in a horrible state, and it comes out in his song writing: the melodies and lyrics are absolutely heart-wrenching, just pure emotion... but at the same time, the physical state of being an addict takes it's toll: his singing technique is horrible and his playing is sloppy. so the product is this paradoxical mix of emotions, and i love it, because it's haunting... but it's beautiful. thank you john.
