me and my friends used to jam this album and antichrist superstar and smoke pot...my dad would always bitch about the music but would never say a word about the pot lol
Lucifer you are wrong, each new album is a continuation of the last. Like a horror movie series. Nothing has been lost, it's a continium of, 'Do what thou will, shall be the whole of the law'.
this was perfect. every detail from the 'Willy Wonka' style logo, to the indescribable sound. i think he lost his magic at mechanical animals. Holy wood swooped back, sounding like Antichrist Superstar, but at G.A.O.G, he lost it again.
i seriously think that his new stuff is fine. its not as good as the old stuff, but its fine. you have to think though, he considers it his job to freak people out and fuck with them in all senses. and after 15-20 years of doing that, you kind of run out of stuff to use.
or maybe its just the fact that he didn't have twiggy with him recently. and with twiggy on the high end of low, it was pretty good.
@FerrariF40Slave Its just different. Very different. But when an artist is forced to rerelease the same sound over and over and over it takes away the emotion they put into the music. It becomes a mechanical process of trying to make the same album over and over. I mean, if all of it sounded the same, than we'd be complaining about that, right? >.<
