  • I like your voice.

  • Still used by the british fire dept. They are also fitten to the Green Goddes (google it)

  • Upload some more videos! Like to see your car in action with the siren.

  • What's wrong with your cam?^^

  • US siren: Wee woo wee woo wee woo weeeeeeeeeeeeeee woooooooooooooo!

UK siren: Nee naw nee naw nee naw!

  • @F19882 They are Italian

  • German sirens always sound a perfect 4th interval. This siren uses a 2nd interval, which was unique to the British Isles and is still used by French fire brigades. French "Martinshorns" vary by interval to indicate the service responding: 2nd for fire, 4th for police, 5th for ambulance, and 6th for Surete.

  • Ja natürlich möchte ich lieber ein Martin-Horn, aber kostet es über 1.000 Euro, während des Fiamm kostet um 250 euro... Duh! Auch ist es so schwer ein Martinshorn außerdeutsch zu finden.....

  • nice siren!

Just a few questions, ok i was just wondering where you got that siren from, and how did you install it? did you replace the stock horn?

    Thanks

  • @MrJasonSmarts I got it from SP services UK. I have the compressor in the engine bay, with two hoses that run up front. The relay is below the steering wheel, the switch near by. Thank you!

  • I wish i could get that very sound for a model police landrover. (large scale)

Does anyone know if this is possible?

  • Try putting the brightness down a bit :)

  • The siren is definately made by FIAMM, which is an Italian company. They were widely used by British fire brigades and the odd brigade still use them today. What a lovely sound! So much nicer than the electronic variety.

  • How can I get one/make one

  • I haven't heard a siren like that in at least 15 years!

  • It is used (as far as i know) exclusively by the British police and fire departments before they started using electronic sirens.

  • Indeed, in fact you can still hear it on most fire engines.

  • not indeed at all. strathclyde police - the cars which dont use electric sirens "yelp".

  • video driving int town with it on,

  • I wanna get one!!! Is it pneumatic??? Tell me how to get one!

  • nice

  • im a german boy i say u the right description of the video:

forgive me my german sucks, es tut mir leid, denn ich kann nicht so gut deutsch sprechen ... aber hier ist meine neue feuerwehr sirene ... ich will in meinem auto putzen. JA! Bitte enjoy

  • fiammDOTcom/group/profile.aspx

  • Yes, this ist not a german Siren. This is not a Martinhorn or an italian Fiamm-Horn with german tone sequence. I do not know a Fire truck or an other Rescue car in germany with this siren.

  • This is a French fire truck siren.

  • I'm dreaming of legally doing that with a private car in Germany... ._.

  • yup, 1970/80's two tones

  • That siren sounds more like an old British one.

  • your German isn´t so bad. I had seen much worst German
