thats a great video, and daaron, you make a great point in saying there will never be another pre, someone could resemble him in another way or another, but no runner will ever make an impact, as huge, and as amazing as pre
to answer your question there will NEVER be another PRE. but really do we want another? pre was so special he deserves to be the pre...pre taught us to be ourselves and become the greatest we can. be yourself and be inspired by PRE but dont be PrE.
If someone is really trying to do what PRE taught others to do in life. And as a result of doing so, they become the greatest they can be, then chances are they will end up resembling PRE in one way or another sooner or later
Thanks... good video. Steve and I lived next door to each other and were best friends growing up in Coos Bay. I was just doing some nostalgia searches when I found this. again... thanks for the work you put into it.
I just wanna say, I watched Steve's story last night on the TV for the first time. It touched me. He was a fantastic sportsman. It inspired me. What a shame for him to go at the top of his game and such a young age! His disapline is not something you see everyday. I just wanted to pass that on to someone who knew him! Regards, Tricia.
Great Vid stumbled across a movie on tv one night called Without Limits and first heard of "Pre" It made a real impression the guy was a true great and I doubht if he will ever be forgotten. A real Rebel who happened to run!!!!
the best runner ever but isn't just amazing how many athletes can you say came fourth in the olympics and yet still be branded as the best even do he is and always will be such a pity
Very nice tribute:-)
