  • Yes... the bloodline. *bows*

You dont know me but I know you. This is reminding me of someone I met in Vegas (aunt) who had to go there for a business meeting. He does something similiar (management) but not as HIGH RANKING. Maybe this was just a coincidence but was fun now that I know who I am.

    Hint: Priory of Sion

  • im black, african n i believe Robin Li is really intelligent and brigh. In no time, he and mark zuckerberg will become the richest ppl in the planet. Thumbs up if u like my comment

  • @malvado403 Mark Zuckerberg... you talking about that douche on Facebook that stole money from me? Ya shut up.

  • @malvado403 Mark Zuckerberg is a fucking retard. I have no problem cutting his cord from the "NETWORK". He questioned politics and Bush... okay whatever (have Mark meet the Brotherhood of Death, Skull Crossbonesmen to shut him up)

Not mad at you, just other stuff.

  • COPY CAT! What can't I say? Educated in United States and took all the ideas back to China. What a convenience. Nothing new under the Sun for sure in China.

  • @jesusabove go check wikipedia, google 's search algrithm largely come from robin li's algrithm, robin li 's idea is original, you american copy us. friend.

  • @XU0038221 u r right. I read it. google copied robin li's work

  • Respond to this video... Tencent , a private company in China, even develop website for social earlier than U.S.'s facebook.

  • @XU0038221 you sure of that?

  • @Andrewjoeable I am sure , you can search Tencent's history

  • in my opinion , like the facebook , Msn , or google can't compare with the Xiaonei , Tencent QQ , Baidu , the chinese people import the idea to their country and do much better , like the xiaonei,QQ it has many interesting games in it , and baidu it allows the people to create a big blog which allows the people to talk about a subject they are interested in , like the manga , films ,stars . that's why Baidu has the advantage , then Google copies the idea , but it's too late at that time!!

  • robin was a bit nervous, and 99% is a incredible and stunning number, well done and keep it on!

  • herpy alarm! :)

  • Robin is very smart, you can see when he talks.

  • @MyMinius agree with that

  • hehe, baidu is not that good compare to Google. But Tencent and alibaba are perharps much, much better than Facebook and Amazone / Ebay. So pay more attention on them!

The 99% is means everyone use it. This number does not refer to market share. The market share of Baidu is roughly 70%.

  • Quite low key and refreshingly honest under the appearance of practicality.

  • ...first time i've seen a chinese tech entrepreneur outside china...

interesting.... seeing that even that one of the most veteran tech journalist in north america has literally no idea what is going on in china....

  • @chrismu5

obviously not the first. check jack ma of alibaba

robin li is not a very good public speaker anyway.

  • @angelusp77 could you cite some sources?

  • @elgringorumbero They already own the US.

  • Why's the audience so silient

  • They have Baidu Search, Encyclopedia and Knowledge (like Yahoo Answers).

Baidu Encyclopedia is like Wikipedia but much more extensive (particularly on Chinese language/subjects), e.g: if you looked up a book in Wikipedia you get an overview of it, with good coverage of, say, the 10 main characters; if you looked up the same book in Baidu Encyclopedia you would get details on say, all 100 characters in the book, bar none. ie. Baidu has tapped into the sheer people-power of China for content.

  • The secret behind every successful Chinese entrepreneur: corruption.

  • @conscarcdr ...and there's no corruption in the US? lmao Your own president let your country be raped by others so don't blame others for your demise or they won't lend your country any more money.

  • @lg123xyz LOL who's the American? I'm Chinese inside out.

  • @conscarcdr Well then you don't know as much as you think.

  • @lg123xyz Enlighten me then.

  • @conscarcdr Go to school.

  • You should be happy that Google left the whole Chinese market for you , it's the sensorship not competition of Baidu forces Google left China, the reality is, Google has already done better than you in Chinese searching .

  • Bullshit, China favored you guys, Google would have pound you guys.

  • @angelusp777 If Google would've pounded "you guys" they would've done so. Instead they fled so don't try to sound like a tough guy when they can buy your country 10 times over.

  • @lg123xyz

No, The Chinese government was the course, Google would have nailed them.

  • @angelusp777 No, its the culture. Google doens't understand the Chinese, the Chinese understand the Chinese. They have a different language a different writing system a totally different mentality and way of doing things that the West don't understand. I love Google but the Chinese has always had their way of doing things. I know all about the censorship and protectionism argument but that is not it.

  • @lg123xyz thank you for bringing this up!

  • @lg123xyz

Culture has nothing to do with this, Google was doing very well in China, the business was very fine. The language and all that shit where not the course. Its because of the damn Chinese Government that blocks every thing in its fire wall, facebook, twitter, etc. They block other businesses, and copy them.

  • @angelusp777 You know shit obviously.

  • @angelusp777

I like the way you talk: facebook, twitter, etc=everything. :)

I THINK that's probably the way some Googlers think about China Internet market, which explains why they retreated while others (Expedia, Amazon, Ebay etc) fail in China.

  • @angelusp777 did you really listen to what was he saying? it's not only about Chinese language search that made Baidu successfully capture the Chinese market. they've embedded quite a number of innovative services on their search engine.

The Chinese government may have favored Baidu but 420million users, successfully captured 99% of the market... there must be something about Baidu that Google doesn't have.

  • @ahrong09

Baidu has 99% NOW, their market share exploded after Google left. And he acknowledges it is because Google left.
