Nancy's more than half-century career has been astounding. For those who became fans with her first Capitol album "Like in Love" it's been pure pleasure following her as she's grown as an artist, transformed as an artist, taking on surprising music, defied typecasting and trends and been totally true to herself. She evidently does not plan ever to look like an old lady (that's for sure) and the voice is still rich and tangy. She is still the fancy Miss Nancy.

I saw her perform this live in Kansas City a number of years back. She talked of this song as the dream that she made come true for herself. She was a delight and has that wonderful signature style. Love you Nancy Wilson. Music by Jerome Kern!

(just listen to what she does with 'guess who i saw today' or 'the greatest performance'). one of the best ballad singers in the world today.
