well,I've left the consoles to play pc cause' I like to play on-line but this game looks incredible.On the other hand,I didn't know metroid 3 didn't have on-line,that's sad since I really liked metroid for gamecube.

I like the game, don't get me wrong, and the controls, while simple, work very well, but the storyline is pretty odd, there isn't enough of a variety in enemies, the time limit is pretty much unneeded, the multiplayer, while the co-op is good, could be better, and it just gets boring and repetitive after a while. It's a good shooter by WiiWare standards, but The Conduit will blow it out of the water by far.

This game's awesome. Its like Halo gameplay but dynasty warrior style. You just kill bugs/aliens mindlessly. Real fans of Metroid were disappointed by MP3 not have online deathmatch, they were disappointed by MP2 and its multiplayer. Metroid is a single player experience.
i had lag before happens when bad connection (rare) too many dashes when lots of action going on usually happens on defend the base level. overall great game
in onslaught all you can kill are bugs. theres no deathmatch, just co-op but you try to get more points than other players by killing more bugs than them at the same time.
ther should a metroid prime 3 game fps in wich you are a gfc trooper and encounter new and similar envoirments and scenes and folow the same story but from a troopers perspective. and it would have online multiplayer without friendcodes, if was a nintendo developer, id make something like that
no that would make metroid a generic FPS just like gears,
but on the otherhand, if they made metroid a wii mmo, it would be cool, then you could make your own bunty hunter, or join the galactic federation ect. something like metroid prime hunters on the ds + a mmoFPA

I agree that they are really good for a WiiWare game, and even good if this was retail, but I can see where he's coming from with his opinion. I played this on an HD television without component cables, and it looked pretty meh; the bug blood on the visor is bit too low-res so you can see some pixelation.
good you noticed, becouse all those generic FPS are pritty much the same allover agein, funny how most people dont notice it at all. FPS has lost their orginality along while ago, thats also why i only buy the ones that look diffrent, like metroid,halo was pritty good too, but gears totally made all look generic and boring
Gears of War isn't generic. I mean i think taking cover was made before but the stop-and-pop gameplay was never introduced untill Gears of War came out and it was fresh. Also I don't think any game can matster that type of gameplay except the GoW series.
there where many games with same gamplay as gears, the only thing "new" they ever did was the chainsaw gun, but thats basicly it.
the graphics are good, but seriously every 360 game has good graphics, the online is ok, and many people belive its fresh, but its actully just a combination of old gameplay modes put together in a diffrent way. 3rd person with killzone 1 style gameplay.
I agree its multiplayer is basically classic deathmatch but being able to take cover and dodge but it's still standard Dm. That's why I like GoW 2 more since it's plays more like how GoW should play. I don't know about other games that has similar as Gears. To be quite honest, I'm not too smart about third person shooters but I know back then you can take cover and GoW simply use that as an influence to its gameplay. It's true most Fps games were like that, but ina TPS perpsective is different.

I thought it was a pretty good game too. I would not give it a 9 out of 10 though. More of a 7.5 or 8 out of 10. Still think its worth it though!
