paramore write their songs. MTV dont have a say with paramore, they wrote the lyrics for misery business, they wrote the music for misery business and thats why they plan for their new album to be a bit heavier than riot. Now from what I last heard, if MTV has a hold on a band they dont let them change the style unless they are on a new contract. So now they are famous you think they have sold out? You, being a fan are making them popular.

MTV deffo have a say in Paramore, but not as much as FBR does. MTV doesn't have a contract with paramore though, but if they didn't want to get blown up like they are now they could've chose a different label. Every band FBR sign become huge sellouts. I don't mind them being popular, you can be popular without being mainstream or money hungry.

if famous means being destroyed by the paparazzi and having no time to yourself (think britney spears) then i'm sure they'd rather not be 'famous'

at least they're not all in rehab and stuff and they know who they can trust because the paparazzi have left them alone to do what they do best. at least with paramore you know them because of their music and not because of drug and alcohol use and rehab.
