The Aether mod was last updated for 1.0, and with the 1.1 patch its broken and with 1.2 coming out any day, the creators are probably just studying the 1.2 snapshots and getting ready.

hmmmm, I get all of the 1.0 versions of the required things. And it always crashes when i try to put in the shockAPI,it had worked with all of the other requirments but shockAPI crashed it. Not sure how to get it to work.

I found a fix for the black screen thing, and stuck at mojang screen.. The way i did it was to get the exact same things he used in the video, not the 1.1 updated files.. I did use 1.04 aether since its also for 1.0.0 (Nostalgia used to get 1.0.0) Obviously, okay enough blabbering, the way i did it is take the clean minecraft.jar. Extract it in a folder and follow the video, and finally dragging every single file into a new clean minecraft 1.0.0 jar from the folder. Hope it helps somone

@SnipesTehGamer download mcnostaliga it change your minecraft into any version you want :) after you downloaded it run it press enter then press 1 and enter and you will have version 1.0.0 :D hope i helped

well i have a big problem i had mods installed so i deleted my whole .minecraft folder and i "force updated" my minecraft after this I used mcnostalgia to downgrade my minecraft to minecraft 1.0 then I did everything what you say i had this net folder but i draged it also into the jar folder when i tryed to start minecraft i had the black screen afer mojang so i deleted the net folder and what happens now after logging in it directly puts "done loading" but the screen freezes i cant do anything
