Dude you are completely right. In high school the 2nd or 3rd string quarterback will hold for you and they don't give a crap where they place it. and it only makes you look bad when u miss it. I told my holder EXACTALLY where to hold it before the snap. and he did the exact same thing as what happened to you. he put it on the wrong end of the block it fell off the tee and i nailed the center in the back of the head. Everyone thought it was me but luckily my parent video-d it.
you have the ball set up perfectly, and you have all the time in the world. what you DON'T have is: 11 people rushing you and all the time in the world. 1.5-2 seconds once that ball is snapped. and you won't get a perfect hold all the time aka the seam. so stop leaving all this shit.
Your an idiot. its going to be a perfect snap 99.9% of the time, and so is the hold. thats why they work on it as professionals. if you play on a high level your going to have all the time you need. unless your tony romo, the hold will be set the way you want it almost every time you kick.
@SteelersMan91 At a high school level, the perfect snap and hold almost doesn't exist. I remember the first field goal I attempted the ball slipped off the puck and was laying down when I made contact. That made me look really bad, but it was the holders fault.
although might i make a suggestion, just a suggestion, maybe try it.
i noticed you take 3 steps, try taking a 2 step approach, starting with your right leg being your first step, i used to kick like you do, but i changed to the 2 step approach, the approach is quicker, and once you get used to it, it doesnt take away any from your distance
we meet again 240p
